If you start with the shakes (twice a day) and eat a healthy meal you can lose weight and keep it off. After a while you learn to eat healthier. I lost 30lbs it took me a year, but The slower the weight comes off the better.

I havent been to a shake shop in over 4 months now, but I havent gained a single pound back because I have learned to eat in moderation. I do have shake mix at home and when I want something sweet, instead of grabbing a candy bar, I make a shake.

Its all in how YOU handle yourself, If you have NO self control, you will gain the weight back.

Ive learned how to eat better and NOT use the shake as often.

Im happy with myself, and Im keeping up on my good eating habits. And I do exercise, I used to do Zumba, which I love, but my schedule is so busy now, I dont go, but I do make every effort to get a little exercise in. That helps as well. But dont knock the shake shops unless you've tried going to one.

Herbalife shakes and suppliments have all the vitamins and minerals you need to lead a healthy life style.... you just gotta stick with it, whether you continue with the shakes or not. What you put in your body is what your results will be in the end!!

I have read all the posts here and most of the negative ones are obviously coming from people that know nothing of the product and have even more obviously never tried any. Herbalife is not a weight loss product and the shakes are just one of many things that the company has, but a lot of people have successfully lost a lot of weight and gained good health in the process changing their lifestyle and eating habits through good nutrition. The company had been around for over 31 years and is #1 in the world with over 10 million people in 75 countries having used their products. The fact that there are over 40 clubs in Las Cruces and our city being the #1 city in North America shows the overwhelming popularity and success of Herbalife.

I've been to Shiki Tiki, they don't wash hands or there equipment they simply rinse it off!!! Plus I've seen numerous times that they aren't putting all the items required 4 a shake!!! Shops like Shiki Tiki cut obvious corners to make a fast buck while drowning in debt!!! If you want 2 be healthy go to the gym, quit eating out,@ know u can & will do it if you stay focused!!!

So why are their so many people with high bmi in the number one city? 40 clubs just means there were some persuasive sales people looking for some new blood. Luckily there is a shortage of jobs here so many signed on in hopes of making a living. The poor quality of education made many easy targets. The fact that this is the last frontier for HL, just magnifies how out of touch LC is with the real world.

How do all these kids afford a $5 shake every day...sometimes more than once a day? It's ridiculous.
The same way they afford McD, Little Caesar's, etc. everyday...

Drank the shakes, signed up to distribute, lost 10 pounds, gained back 15. This stuff is a quick fix, but it doesn't last. This is a fad that will soon be gone. Not only does the health department need to look at this, but so does NM Tax and Rev, are any of these shops paying in the sales tax???? doubt it!
Agree if a business has a business license it MUST pay Sales Tax of 7.5625%. So if a shop charges $5.00. That means it needs to pay a gross receipts tax of $0.34 cents per $5.00 charged.

If I were a successful Herbal Life shop worker and my shop was clean, I would charge a total of $5.00 plus tax total of $5.34 per tea and shake. However since the shake and tea is $5.00 then the shake and tea must be $4.65 + Tax.

If a business has not been reporting any gross receipts tax then I suppose the business will be considered the black market.

Dude!!! I buy 20 frozen Banquets and eat 6 per day. I dont have to cook, just NUKE 4 minutes and you are done! Just dont burn your tongue, which I do every time. Those Banquets are a excellant source and if you are really needy, because the soup kitchen is miles away. RAMENS, Ramens work extra good, especially when you have a good can of pork and beans. Eat them right out of the can. Then when every one turns out the lights! Grilled pigeon on charcoal grill for that meat group.

Since you are so fit, why don't you bend over backwards and kiss the first big thing you see?

You can achieve several things by romancing yourself...particularly since you are convinced you're the smartest person you've ever met.

I bet you buy a lot of window cleaner so you can keep all those mirrors in every room of your apartment spotless.

Herbalife is the best! They are called clubs not shops! Herbalife has many other products that are amazing!!! From heart health to kids health. I see people happy and healthy. When I go into clubs they are clean. Dirty? If you only knew how dirty walmart is and your own bathroom. But you need to go to both places right? Right?get right in your own heads people! We are ALL dollar signs to everyone! Even church!!! Geeze!!!

Do they serve any chocolate shakes there with giant chunks of brownies in them? If not, then it's useless to the general public.

<quoted text>Ok agree. However some of us cant help it but to eat too much at night. That is where Herbal Life Tea and Shake comes in. With only 2 shakes and teas pure day and a beautiful dinner, it helps with my cravings and makes me feel full longer.
Bonus: I receive all my vitamins for the day.
Fun fact: You can get all the vitamins you need from the food you eat.(What? Food is fuel? No WAY!?)

You say Herbalife makes you feel full? There are plenty of foods you can eat that will make you feel full without having to add in questionable amounts of protein and soy in your body.

Another person in the forum suggested that we educate ourselves in Herbalife before we knock it. I've tried it, and I've read the ingredients list. The shakes are tasteless, and the side effects of taking Herbalife outweigh any benefits, which isn't surprising considering the amount of caffeine, protein, soy, and all those fillers and additives.

People are not willing to put in hard work and care for their bodies, and it's sad.

I don't mind having a shake as a meal replacement. I just think that herbalife shakes aren't that good nutritionally and that there are better shakes out there.
