Boy, youse, guys and gals got this right. Casinos are no good for anybody, especially people that lack self control and inteligents. They sure are lucky they did not get a casino in Gettysburg or they might end up like me! No one wants to go through what I did and become what I have become.

In reality Pinky those folks are just like any other area. No matter where a casino goes, people that lack self control and inteligents fall prey to the draw of a casino. Much like those that fall prey to a sale in a store or an all you can eat pizza special!

i can understand that, some of those locals fall prey to the all you can eat pizza bar aimed at the hungry tourist masses. When in reality its the locals that should be eaten there, since they lack self control. I bet you throw a bone their way and they'll chew on it for months, if not years.

I don't live in Gettysburg so you are even more confused than me trying to figure out if a straight beats a flush. Did you know that in some states they do? Just another way casinos try to dupe people.

A TROLL for one..I'd say..WHAT CHA GONNA DO at Musikfest..stir everyone away from the Sand's casino entrance as they leave a Musikfest music sound stage..Have you ever given consideration into the bus tour of the casino's interior to new residents of Bethlehem..as to allow them to become AWARE of the dangers of gambling..as you DID in Gettysburg?? a know...it's like telling your child OVER AND OVER again...DON'T climb that tree too high..or you'll fall on your head..and have a head injury...like me..Kids and adults ALL have to experiment trying something once..to see if it's desirable once more...go and have fun at Musikfest...SERIOUSLY..

You are correct Chick. Everyone reacts differently to so many situations and someone can become addicted to anything, while others are not affected. If we were to eliminate everything people can become addicted to, we will have nothing available.

I have a friend who has no desire to go to a casino, and doesn’t touch alcohol, yet he is over $100,000 in debt working on his “race car”. He wins a little at the track but doesn’t make enough to pay is bills. So we should make racing and owning a race car illegal because people become addicted to it?

I know people who have to buy something at those impulse racks next to the check out at the local market. Should they be eliminated because some people are addicted to them?

Regretfully some people can’t control some urges, so should everyone who can control those impulses be punished?

I would like someone to identify something that nobody has ever lost control over.
