Why not make people less independent and more subservient. This is an abomination, an abuse of government discretion and in all probablity devised to expand and perpetuate the beauracracy that administers food stamps.
This government should be ashamed of itself and all those who initiated this idea should be terminated.

I can tell you in most states the rank and file beauracrates and certinly not increasing.
Caseloads are twice the load they were four years ago, and no sign of decreasing.
In the metro areas they can't even hire workers for positions they are willing to fill.
The pay is not competetive.

I have been four years without a pay increase of any sort, my copays and premiums on insurance are increasing, my net pay decreases each year.
No sign of that changing either.
I'm old enough for Social Security, but can't afford to retire or change jobs.

I've talked to other workers in ohter states, and it is the same.

The Feds are paying out more in the freebies, but the states are not keeping up with the staffing.

Regulations have relaxed.
Case reviews are less frequent.
Recipient contacts are going to phone and mail only, less and less personal contact.

My job requiremts states college degree or equivilent, and wokers in here with 25 years experience make barely $40k per years. We pay for our health insurance, retirement pension, etc.

I have baby making, mentally disabled women, under 25, with greater take home pay than my own.
Cash, food stamps, WIC, housing, energy, medical, all at no cost.
Just explaining, not complaining.

The general public really does not realize how bad it is. And it is not the workers benefiting.

Goverment is running

Governemetn is running out of money, and it starts at the bottom.

College degree, 12 years working in this state (there have been others), and if I had a wife and child with only my paycheck I'd qualify for WIC.
