My friend's sister, who goes to Caltech, is currently taking this course. It sounds so awesome. I wish we had a class like this at my college when I was there!

As an aside, McGee's "On Food & Cooking" is a fascinating book. Even if you don't read it straight through, it's a useful reference for the curious cook.
