It isn't just carnivores pal, check some of your own habits. I'm sure you're guzzling a good amount of fossil fuel in some way. There's nothing worse than a self-righteous vegetarian. I'm sure you're "saving the planet" single-handedly. You must be a recent convert to vegetarianism.

What's the nutrition of this great new breakfast sandwich ? You all should watch "Super Size Me" You'll never look at McDonalds or and fast food the same way.
Super Size Me was a bunch of BS. Who eats this stuff three meals a day non-stop; and always super-sized. Just a McD basher. Everything in moderation, eat your green veggies too and no worries. Sheesh!

Of course it's an ode to Chik-Fil-A. Chik-Fil-A does great in the south. And seeing that Michigan is the Alabama of the north and Indiana Mississippi, I believe these chicken sandwiches will be quite popular.
Now THAT'S good comedy!:-)

I bought one the other day. It wasn't bad, but I doubt I buy one again. Something is just not right having chicken for breakfast.
I agree with you, but now that I think about it, eggs are baby chicks and I eat them for breakfast all the time.

Now, if we can just get a Sonic up here. Never been to one, but boy oh boy their commercials on cable make their food look yummy!
Sonic is great - wish they had them here. The only reason I can think of that keeps them out of Chicago is weather. Who would want to be a car hop in the middle of January?

Forget this bland white-meat chicken stuff. I'd love to see a chicken-fried STEAK on a biscuit on the McD's breakfast menu! One of my favorite breakfast items--the Denver omelette bagel--should be a full-time item, too, instead of a "specialty" item that's only out once in a blue moon. And I can't remember what one particular sandwich was called, but it had grilled onions and melted Velveeta-like cheese and was served on a whole wheat bun. That was good! I haven't seen it for years, though.
That being said, I do like the honey mustard and ranch snack wraps. At least they're affordable. I don't eat the high-priced items often, and when I do, I usually choose the Big-N-Tasty (or fully assembled clone of the McDLT). My usual choice is a round of double cheeseburgers for the family when we're out shopping. It fills us up until we can get home to eat something else, and it doesn't break the bank.
I like the McDs ranch snack wraps too, but whats up with the puny sized piece of chicken. At KFC at least its decent size.

Mcdonald's food is gross and disgusting.

It doesn't always taste that way, but, really, we know better.

and as a corporation, they're just terrible.

Exactly! All these ingrates using power from Coal Power Plants for their computers so that they can type garbage on this board. The humanity! We need to move all blogs to sand-boxes around the city (which we should be forced to walk to) and tax all those who don't obey!

Never liked any "chicken" products from McDonalds (flavorless, dry and well....just doesn't even taste like chicken). I like some southern food but a chicken sandwich with pickles just doesn't seem appetizing.

I'm not a big McDonalds fan. Burger King and Taco Bell beat them in every aspect when I'm in the mood for junk food. I do agree with many others though. Extend the breakfast menu hours and you've got me hooked.

McDonald's should offer 24-hour breakfast. They'd make a fortune selling McGriddles and biscuit sandwiches at 11 o'clock at night.
You may have an idea there. In a town with a lot of shift workers 10pm is breakfast time for the overnight shift on their way to the plant for 11 or midnight

Another vote for breakfast all day. It is now almost 11 pm, and an Egg Mc Muffin would sure be tasty right now. As I get older, I can't eat Mc D's burgers, but breakfast is always good!

FYI
McDonalds has higher standards than the Federal Governmen practices reguarding in treatment and processing of live animals . You won't see the cruel treatment you speak of in their system. I know first hand. They are a very socially responsible company. You don't have to like the food but don't confuse hype with fact.

Have you ever seen the way they treat the goose for foie gras? THAT is sad and pathetic. P.s. They are talking about lifting the ban.
WTF wrote:
How can people consume this garbage? It's funny that Chicago has a ban on foie gras, but this is ok---factory-farmed chicken that are pumped full of hormones and treated horribly, living in their own filth in small cages with their beaks cut off. I'm not one for legislating what people can and can't eat, but come on! If this city is going to start banning foods, include the chickens from fast food places. Oh, wait, McDonald's is a huge corporation, so I guess they can do what they want.

I had a McDonalds chicken biscuit for breakfast the other day at the Dallas Airport. While I have no problem eating chicken for breakfast, the biscuit was dry and fell apart while I was gnawing on the rather tough piece of chicken. Needless to say, I made a huge mess and threw the remains away in disgust. A good concept poorly executed.

As a true southerner I am appalled at McDonald's attempt to capitalize on Chick Fil A's success! While I have lowered my standards and tasted their "sweet tea," I refuse to try this. FYI, their tea sucks. It was completely over-brewed and not sweet at all. McDonald's should stop stealing other restaurant's menu items and cont to cook the only 3 items worth consuming on their menu-sausage mcmuffin, french fries, and the ice cream sundae!
