I build my yogurt store around $50,000 (including 4 machines)
does it look cheap? no it looks better than red mango.
I feel sorry for those guys who's spedning $7000 each for taylor 754 from the dealer
I got 4 machines for price of one.

I see those stores spedning $100,000 on brand new machines, plus build out (at least another $100k) and franchise fees all that.

this thing won't last long.
don't be silly guys

if you want to open self serve frozen yogurt store

I can help you build one, give you all the info etc

I won't definitely go with franchise unless you are retired and have half million $ sitting somewhere

Calculate your costs and overhead for your yogurt store or adding yogurt to your existing business.

First thing is to figure out your total costs:

(i) Store design and buildout
(ii) Equipment
(iii) Signage
(iv) Initial Inventory
(v) Grand opening and advertising blitz costs

Then calculate your overheads and break even point. I believe a minimum of $1000 a day in gross sales is required to make things
happen. The sooner you can achieve this on a daily basis, sooner you will achieve profitability.

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking into those distributors. Any feedback from your customers as to what distributor they like most? Dry or liquid mix? I haven't opened the shop yet still in the planning phase, I figured I needed the product first. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, once I figure out the cooler I'll let you know.

My name is Henry, and I am the sales rep for Frozen Yogurt Solutions. I don't know who you are, but our company is not a joke. We sell great equipment, and we know the fro yo business just as well as anyone. If you want to pay $15k for a new Taylor machine, then go ahead. I agree they make solid equipment, but there's no reason it should cost as much as a new Honda civic. Don't go on here saying bad things about our company if you don't know what we're about.

Hello everybody. I am interested in opening a frozen yogurt shop in Poland, Europe. I would like as much information about what would be the best machines to buy and product. I was also wondering if there are any kind of schools or schooling that can teach me about the machines and the frozen yogurt powders. I am from California so if you have any information for me I am in the United States. Thank you very much.

I'm looking for a yogurt mix that tastes like YOGURT.....the sharp original tasting yogurt that doesn't taste like icecream, but not that kind that obviously has citric acid added to it to make it tart.
