Where to find 100% all natural low-fat plain frozen yogurt mix powder with reasonable price??
We are planning to open up a frozen yogurt kiosk in Los Angeles area. We were reffered to a Italian yogurt powder supplier but their stuff is EXPENSIVE! Runs like 40 bucks for 1kg bag (roughly 2.2lbs).
Could anyone give us recommand for a quality supplier or brand?
Besides where we can get the best deal on cups, cones etc?
Thanks a million!
Hi Zeon-were you able to findy any, and would you mind giving me the name of the Italian company you mentioned? Thanks, imagoevie@aol.com

Just found this site, I'm not sure why people haven't mentioned Only8 yogurt but once---we have had tremendous success with his product. We are a 50 year old ice cream place, and always carried Columbo, found Only8 and love so much about it. It's sweetened with fructose, so no nutrasweet-yuck-and has 4 live cultures, uses kosher whey, so it appeals to diabetics, lactose-intolerants, and dieters. We have Taylor Horizon machines, the best out there, and this product comes out wonderful. Comes in vanilla and chocolate bases, 15 bags to a case. ONLY8.com ---check it out!

I used to use flavormine, but was getting too many complaints regarding the icy watery texture which resulted in the product melting rapidly, and so I went to search for a new supplier and

ran into Cielo USA

not only did they have the best prices it was the best tasting and had the best creamy yet refreshing textureto it ,in my opinion the others I tried like, Alpha Freezz, Citrus and green, were far too icy and had a strange after taste .

I've always thought that Only 8 was a rip-off of the high quality Carbawhey brand. Only 8 uses regular whey and fructose and lies about their nutrionals. Only 8 should be called only 16 because they're really around 16 calories an ounce. Only 8 was also a break off of a previous company that lied and was sued about their nutritionals and they're at it again with Only 8. Why do you think people are getting fat on Only 8?

Carbawhey on the other hand is what I stock in my stores. It uses whey PROTEIN concentrate which we all know is the highest quality protein you can eat. Carbawhey is also the lowest calorie softserve in the world. 20 Calories for 4 ounces, do the math 5 calories an ounce. Stick that in your 120 calorie Pink berry and smoke it. We've used the Carbawhey stuff for over 4 years now! We attribute the expansion of our 3 stores to the Carbawhey products. We've been able to build into multiple locations because our customers can't get enough of Carbawhey. We have a ton of regulars that eat it breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's safe for lactose intolerants all day long, the company and their products are tried and true, it's high in protein, non-fat, safe for diabetics, and best of all it tastes really really good! I can't reccomend them enough, if you're really serious about soft serve and you want your store to be sucessfull they'll work with you.
Let them know that Frank sent you! Here's their site www.carbawhey.com

Hi Shannon. Just opened a ice cream shop in downtown toronto this past month and am using Frosty Boy brand berryo yogurt. Comes in powdered form just add water and lemon juice. The bacterial cultures are already in the mix. It's prebiotic and probiotic already and, by the way, it tastes really great. We also use Frosty Boy ice cream mix. Again, just mix with water and pour into the machine. Also use a Taylor ice cream machine. They are the best!!

Hello,
I want to open a frozen yogurt store in DC.
I particularly like the tarty taste of Yogurt-land (Fullerton,CA).
Does anyone know where I can find the yogurt powder that is similar to that one?
Otherwise, Pinkberry style is okay too.
Also, I would like more info on the soft serve machines too.

Please email me at tmc_prprts@yahoo.com.

Many Thanks

has anyone tried yo-cream? we were up in berkeley this weekend and went to some frozen yogurt places. we thought they had some of the better tart frozen yogurt we'd tried in the SF bay area. they used the yo-cream mix (which is a liquid, not powder).

i should also add that yo-cream is less icy, and more creamy -- sort of more like pinkberry's style, rather than yogurt-land's. i prefer the creamy style of frozen yogurt personally. supposedly it's still nonfat.
