A blacklist of foods heavy on calories but light on nutrition has been drawn up to help combat obesity - and honey, muesli bars, whole milk and frozen yoghurt are all included.

Most people who read this list will ask, "OK, What the heck can I eat then?"
The younger set amongst the masses are not aware of what you do with whole foods out of the supermarket, like, fruit, vegetables, grains, milk, eggs and honey. They only know about factory prepared concoctions that hopefully include a few of the above. Fortunately there are a few who are very aware!
Honey, ironically, is proving to be our best friend when it comes time to wean ourselves off all the factory derived sweeteners. Honey does not stimulate excessive appetite like the other sweeteners do, but it does assist the liver in its work of sequestering surplus glucose from the blood stream as glycogen.
