This event is disgusting in light of the amount of people unemployed due to this countries economic state.Would it not make more sense to donate ALL the money and time put in to this pompous event and help the needy and feed hungry families??I am not talking about the street bums..I am refering to the thousands and thousands of hard working,up standing citizens that have been laid off...thanks to all all the high society greed at the top...What a selfish,egocentric lot and shame on the Herald for making it front page news...very very very poor taste~no pun intended.
All the money wasted on all these snobbish events sickens my stomach....
