A super food, indeed. A lot of good advice, much appreciated.

My father packed and shipped fresh asparagus in the Yakima Valley, Washington. He thought the small young spears were better than the larger more mature spears. I have been won over by the tenderness of the younger spears. He aso grew hothouse cuks, asparagus and cucumbers were my childhood!

Used to go asparagus picking with my grandpa. It was pretty fun, and I still enjoy the food today.
