Thanks very much. We just adore her! She walks everywhere, lives alone, and does just about everything except fix the roof shingles. I've promised her some roller skates for Christmas.

Ha, ha. But shouldn't they be ice skates?

It's her physical activity which has helped her through the surgery and its aftermath. She's truly a role model for people of her generation.

On another note: how does Jones and Bones stay in business? It's a tiny, out-of-the-way, hard-to-find place with an esoteric inventory.

I've wondered about J&B myself, but Jennifer really gets to know her customers, she does tastings so you know what you're buying, and the products are excellent. It's been her life for 25 years, through Hell and high water, plus some tough health issues and losing her longtime partner this year. But her friends help her out with staffing, and she keeps on going. I support her because she's so darn tough and she has a really big heart.
