Years ago, there was a great bartender at Fernwood, in Big Sur, that used to put whole shrimp and steak bits into Bloody Marys. Those drinks were so good, a meal really, and I've never seen anything like it since. We went back many times to find him, but unfortunately, he is not there anymore, or at any of the other bars in Big Sur. I think he played trombone. It's not as much fun there now as it was then, so we all quit going. Bring him back!
