Tony Gonzalez is a vegan Atlanta Falcons NFL player. You are stereotyping us and killing someone who cannot fight back.
just like you are steroptyping meat eaters and hunters. just like you are killing "someone' who cannto fight back when you choose to destroy natural habitats to make room for grain and vegetable farms.

If (when) the seal cull does happen there is no one outside of Canada can do anything about it, the government well pay sealers to kill seals just like the the government of Australia pays hunters to cull 3 million roos and hundreds of thousands of wild horses (Brumbies) which are shot from helicopters. Have you heard of the EU (Belgium) muskrat cull??? Over a million every year are culled due to population control in the EU (hypocritical 'eh?) alone.
You don't see many pictures of those culls cause the reason is simple, they are culls and those countries don't have to answer to anyone!

just like elephants are culled, and many other species. why? to maintain animal and environmental balances which humans have destroyed.

but then lets face facts - muskrats and roos aren't as appealing on a photograph as a seal pup is. yups its hypocrtical.

yes. its called culling, as opposed to over population, habitat destruction, starvation and extinction.

i want to my kids and their kids grow up to see huge tracts of land where wild animals live as they should - this means wildlife managment seeing we have no more natural balance left (which includes controlled culling and hunting to subsidise it) and if my contribution is eating venison in a restuarant, so be it. you want to see no management, and stuffed animals in a museum - "look bobby - thats what a lion used to look like once". just who is the "idiot" here, exactly?

enjoy your lettuce.

Definition of hunting on Wikipedia:

"Hunting is the practice of pursuing living animals (usually wildlife) for food, recreation, or trade."

Does appear there are side effects to being a vegetarian. Makes you willing condone threats or MURDER of your fellow men. Taken to its extreme you or your similiar zealot wannabe terrorists would probly condone cleansing humans so make way for the animals.

Strange, since I dont actually hate your views or wish you more then a boot to the head to smarten up. Got to wonder why you would advocate harm to someone that dont like your views.

Wait a sec, maybe chewing on lettuce and carrots all day does mess up brain chemistry.

My relatives on North Eastern Newfoundland do of course thank you and your kind for the good laugh you provide us. Helps pass the day.

club the seals, nuke the whales, skin the activists, and kill every last polar bear on the planet. I'm sick of uppity animals and humans, let's bring them all down a peg or two, starting with those idiotic greenpeace azzholes on "whaling wars." Wish those Japs would have killed those idiots and sank their ship when they committed that act of piracy by boarding that ship uninvited.

I don't see whats the big deal about hunting seals. Its no different from hunting deer, or slaughtering a cow/chicken/pic/etc.

However, I do agree that clubbing a seal to death is crude, kinda like how I consider boiling a living crab to also be crude.
