Amazing ow a city of 18,000 can fluck up the lives of MILLIONS in Maryland, DC and Virginia.

Those same bas*t*ard liberals have declared Langely Park a sanctuary city where Illegal Immigrants are welcome. Thanks to them, wonderful organizations from Casa De Maryland to the lovely MS-13 have been allowed to get footholds in the region.

Thank you, Takoma Park. I hope they turn your graves into parking lots so I can park my pick up truck.

...yes, because we all know that everyone in Takoma Park and the surrounding metro area lives on pate de foie gras, and the whole metro area will be damaged, lacking and deprived because of this ban. Kudos for this! I had no idea it was made this way. Down with duck liver!

That last sentence says it all for me.."In 2006, the council passed a resolution imploring stores to supply-and residents to purchase-only eggs coming from cage-free chickens...

Tomorrow morning I will ask the manager of SFW where I shop if the eggs they sell there come from cage-free chickens...might as well stop by my local Safeway and Giant while doing this...wonder if Bloom sells cage free eggs...

Those mentioned stores really should write on the egg cartons that their eggs come from cage-free birds...

Maybe that's why I haven't been feeling too well lately after a breakfast of bacon and EGGS......NAH.....Must be the bacon....

Where do we get idiots in government? Do we look under rocks or do we find these liberal a%%holes chained to trees? I think all of them should leave the U.S. and go to The Virgin Islands, smoke some herb and just drift away! Why? Because you are useless POS!

Looks like PETA and HSUS won another one! Pretty soon they'll win the final one, and there will be "total animal liberation" - animals wandering all over the country without food, without medical care, without shelter - but by golly, they'll be free!

I should point out that "animals wandering all over the country" includes pets such as dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, rabbits, hamsters and reptiles, as well as cattle, sheep, swine, alpacas, emus, zoo animals, farm animals, circus animals - ALL animals. Because well meaning people keep supporting PETA and HSUS, not realizing that their local humane society is NOT part of the Humane Society of the United States (which actually kills more than 2/3 of the animals they "rescue." And people don't realize that these organizations, along with the Animal Liberation Front want to outlaw meat eating - as well as eating eggs, cheese, butter, milk, fish, poultry, and any other form of animal life. In other words, all humans should be vegans until someone comes up with the idea that even vegetation has rights.

Takoma Park is priceless. Revenge is sweet though because the place is now becoming overrun with illegals.

I've been to Tacoma park. I think they should outlaw murder before foie gras. Just my opinion.

You Gotta love it...crime out of control, gas prices at an all-time high, economy collapsing, and some jokers issue an edict concerning waterfowl. Only in The People's Republic of Takoma Park

Another example of abuse of power. When will these idiots understand that you can not legislate morality.

Ground up fatty duck liver is a treat? No thanks, I'll have ice cream or chocolate cake. Sheesh, what some people will eat just to be snooty.

I love me some duck liver. People need to allow me to enjoy my delicacy. Who are you to judge me for eating duck liver? One could just as easily contend that any form of confinment of animals for purpose of food is just as cruel. In short if you eat meat from domesticated cattle, foul, fish ect you hands are far from clean.

Takoma Park is extremely liberal. Far-left liberals are just like religious nuts who try to tell society how they should live and what they should think. Takoma Park will reap what it has sewn. There is no redeeming quality of Takoma Park. I hope MS13 makes TP their MD headquarters.

How nice that things are running so well in Takoma Park that the City Council has nothing more urgent with which to concern themselves.

Kudos to the Takoma Park City Council for passing a resolution opposing the production and sale of foie gras.

With the passage of this resolution, Takoma Parkís City Council has acted on behalf of those who canít speak for themselves -- the 150,000 ducks force-fed, tortured and slaughtered on Americaís two foie gras farms every year.

The Takoma Park City Council should be commended for recognizing what many Americans already know -- that foie gras is animal abuse too abhorrent to condone.
