You don't have to be an "animal rights activist" to protest the incredible cruelty of foie gras - any ordinary decent human being would be repelled by the very concept of the disgusting stuff!
With so many countries finally evolving into the 21st century, and banning this abomination once and for all - a big thumbs down to the Neanderthals on the Chicago Council (with the notable exception of Alderman Moore,of course) for taking the retrograde step of condoning what is surely up there among the most revolting, inhumane and unnecessary practices of food production.
