Burger King getting a new look

Full story: TwinCities.com

Burger King Corp. plans to swap its generic fast-food feel and bland tiles and tabletops for a vibe that's more sit-down than drive-through. As part of a plan to be revealed today in Amsterdam, the company will announce a massive effort to overhaul its 12,000 locations worldwide.

I wish they would get rid of the "Burger King" character they use in their commercials. Those commercials rate an automatic channel change when they come on!

I usually don't go to Burger King because their
French Fries are awful.
They should put their money into trying to
find french fries that don't taste like card board.

Yeah getting rid of that Burger King plastic character should be part of the campaign. That thing is downright creepy.

Did you know that a McDonald's franchise generates over twice the income for its owner as a Burger King franchise? I'm surprised Burger King is still around.

Tell the Burger King people to go to Culvers for lunch. There clean, upto date, and they deliver the food to your table. Eating at my local Burger King, I never do, is like having lunch in a dirty subway station. It really is clean, it's just beat up and old. Next tell the Burger King people to train their staff and hire people that are willing to clearly speaak english and smile and say "Thank You'

I'm odd guy out, but I think those BK commercials are really clever, and quite funny. And the ones with the Whopper and Whopper junior guys wearing the burger costumes always generate a laugh. However, bottom line is you can put lipstick on a pig...

Good Burgers, good breakfasts, but as said earlier terrible french fries. The worst in the industry.
If I had to rate the fries
White Castle
Culvers
McDonalds a distant third
Burger King a very distant fourth
okay

I suppose the remodeling is necessary because there is too much grease to remove from the old materials.

I have a better idea to boost BK's sales: put up the Golden Arches.

I usually would hit the drive through at the one by my work. Then, one day I decided to eat inside for the first time. The place was so disgusting on the inside I never went there again. Many of the BK's I've been to seem really dirty.

How about invest the money into training/teaching employees about customer service...these counter people act as if they are doing a favor to the customer by waiting on them.

Absolutely THE DUMBEST, surliets employees EVER!!
Do not know their merchandise or menu and could care less about service. You'll never GUESS what club they belong to (Clue: it ain't Norweigan!)

Unlike other fastfood chains? You could say that about most of the chains. Culvers seems to different though.

Yeah, they went way over the top when they started running ads where the big plastic-headed BK sneaks into people's bedrooms and scares them awake with a loud horn and an infra-red camera in the face. Downright creepy is right!

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Pisces

Someone is extremely headstrong and defiant today, and there's every chance that you're the one fitting this description. The more others are trying to make you behave yourself or do what they want, the more determined you'll be to do the exact opposite. Well, it is a Full Moon, and a lunar eclipse in emotional Cancer, so you're excused! Show them that you're an individual in your own right without going completely overboard about it, because that will cause trouble. Then once you've got all that off your chest you can relax and look forward to a really Happy New Year!
