Perks galore for lucky workers at bailed-out AIG

There are 3 comments on the story from Aug 24, 2012, titled Perks galore for lucky workers at bailed-out AIG . In it, reports that:

Government still owns 53% of Wall Street insurance titan, but Snapple, Starbucks and luxe golf and galas are on the house

Free Snapple, Starbucks coffee, and sodas — even Tylenol and Advil — all available at a company pantry round-the-clock. Periodic company parties at swanky local restaurants, complete with free buffet meals and open bars. Breakfast and lunch trays delivered several times a week to employees at company expense. A weekday outing at the Split Rock Golf Course in Pelham for more than 100 employees.

Those are just some of the unusual perks available to employees of insurance giant AIG, according to a former employee and a trove of emails obtained by the Daily News.

It may sound minor, but when you are government-owned and the government doesnÂ’t provide its own workers those little perks, why should AIG be special?

I agree maybe the government should take some of those mouth breathing fat assed government workers down at the DMV who don't get those perks and give them a chance at running the largest multi national insurance company in the world.

Perhaps you should be more worried about them bleeding talent because people are tried of being the target of barbs over free coffee when they are managing billions and billions of dollars in assets in 130 countries.

Come on find a real scandal to complain about.

And there is silence regarding the LIBOR scandal. In the US it got what? 20 minutes of media coverage when the LIBOR rates dictate interest rates of personal loans, student loans, car loans, food costs, home loans, business loans, etc.........

Perks galore for GSA workers

Perks galore for Nancy Pelosi's Copenhagen Climate Change Conference-meanwhile Americans were suffering

Perks galore for Pelosi-flying JUST her family back to LA on a military jet (how about a commercial flight or a charter flight, Nancy? why put the EXPENSE on the BACKS of Americans?)

Perks galore -25 Secret Service Agents sent to Mexico for Malia Obama's SPRING BREAK VACATION! Couldn't the Obamas have her vacation IN America and do some Community Service?

Perks galore for Michelle Obama and her personal vacations being funded by suffering Americans as she schedules '1 official event' during her PERSONAL VACATION so then Americans will pick up the tab for THAT PERSONAL vacation. That IS taking ADVANTAGE of the American Taxpayer.

Perks galore for Leon Panetta and that Americans have to pay for his weekly flights home to CA.

It's most outrageous that this occurs DURING one of the MOST HORRID ECONOMIC TIMES in America.

WE are suffering and they continue to ABUSE the privileges. That's a real sin. Stop abusing us,taking advantage while we are down and out.
