At 3 to 5 times the cost to live there, that is dirt poor. 1 gal of milk $9, 1 gal of gas $7, a 3 liter coke $5.50, a pack of cigarettes $20. Higher minimum wages, will not increase your buying power. The cost to the employer,for the higher wages. Will get passed down to the consumer, no gain. The losers are the people that make more than minimum wage.
