A friend of mine, who is taking Phentermine that his wife ordered off of the internet, has been selected to take a random drug test.

Will Phentermine show up positive in the test? Is he screwed?

I don't know from personal experience but have heard that it depends on the type of test and when the last dose was taken in relation to the test.

Some do a UA & others do the test via a hair sample.

I will look up the info I read and copy that over here for you.

Sorry to be confused, but why does it matter? They aren't illegal and they come in a perscription bottle, so I don't understand.

I am a dispatcher and a lot of my old drivers take them and they get randoms because of strict DOT regulations and none of them ever had an issue.

Here's what another participant posted some time ago..."Yes, phen DOES show up in hair tests. In my case the lab simply called and asked if I had a prescription because they showed phen in my hair. I simply gave them the doctor's name and control number off the bottle and was hired. Case closed." I cannot locate the UA timing but vaguely recall someone saying 48 hours. If your friend is really concerned, they need to look up the info. Google is a wonderful tool!

How long do you have to be off of PHENTERMINE so that is does not show up on a urine drug test ?

I am wondering if Methadose shows up on a 5 panel hair drug screen. My mom takes it for severe pain and while at her house I took two thinking they were ibuprofen (she had transferred these meds to a larger bottle) and this was the only time it happened. I was tested for a new job today and totally forgot about the incident so not I'm freaking out.

I sure hope you are right! I had a random today, b/c my co workers are "concerned about" my diet pills. It came back inconclusive! I am a nervous wreck. I have the pill bottle w/ my name on it though.

yea i am wondering if phentrimine shows up in a saliva drug test??>. i am freaking out cause i take them but its not my prescription, and my school does the tests 4 sports.. plz help me i need to know if it shows up or how long i need to be off them so it wont show..

what-if u should be okay. opiods r out of ur system in 1-2 weeks. typically faster if you're not a regular user. when u say oxy do u mean oxycodone or oxycontin though? if it was a high dose (40+ etc) oxycontin it may show up

you will be fine, out of system in 3 days and they ill do 5oint test and oxy isnt on it.

also, for those of you looking for legal phentermines, go to your doctor. only a doctor can prescribe legal phentermines and you have to be at least 25-30 pounds overweight or a 30+ bmi.

I just took a pre-employment hair drug test and am a bit concerned because about 3 months ago I was taking phentermine 37.5 mg prescribed to me by a doctor and am wondering if that is going to fail me on the drug test because it is a hair test. Please someone get back to me!

This is not true at all, you do not have to 25-30 pounds over weight to get the pill through a doctor. I am 5'3" and weigh (at the doctors office to get Phentermine) 137 at my height and having two kids I am in NOOOOO way considered overweight and my doctor gave them to me.
