you can e-mail me at purpleski27@yahoo.com I don't have any at the moment. How many bottles are you wanting, and I may ne anle to get them from another person here. |
I live in New Mexico, and I have taken Nuvida and it really does work for me. One of my family members bought it and lost 20 lbs, then he told us how he lost the weight and my mom and I decided to try it. I lost 20 lbs, then got pregnant, and now I am looking to lose my baby weight. I have lost 10lbs of it so far. I lose about a pound a day, sometimes more. My mom lost half a pound a day. It works different for everyone. I don't sell Nuvida, don't know anyone who does! I was looking on the internet to find out if someone sells it in the US so I don't have to wait for it to come from over seas and came across this forum. You just have to try if for yourself to see if it works! If someone can get me a bottle ASAP I would appreciate it!!! |

My wife started taking this in August of 2011 trying to lose about 20 pounds. In Sept, started noticing some constipation issues. Stopped taking this stuff and progressively got worse. After some serious cramping ended up in the er and eventually being diagnosed with colitis. She was perfectly healthy before this with no prior history of colon or stomach problems. About to have to face some very serious medical decisions now. Don't know if this stuff is responsible, but seems awfully strange the link from the constipation from nuvida , to her present colitis problems. Research more is all I recommend.

I began taking Nuvida in May of this year. I kept track of my progress on a weekly basis and lost 17 pounds in one month. The next month, June, I switched to Unitrim and lost an additional 14 pounds. It's now the middle of July and I have LOST A TOTAL OF 31 POUNDS so far in a little over two months! I went from weighing 152 to 121 pounds!! This is the smallest I have been in over 5 years.
I have made slight adjustments to my diet during this time. Because a side effect of both pills is extreme dry mouth (for me), I drink soooo much water. Another side effect for me has been constipation. I was urinating frequently but rarely having bowel movements. I began to eat high-fiber meals to help with the bowel movements. At that point, I was urinating and defacating frequently and in excess. I began to experience feelings of being light-headed and my heart began racing. I realized I needed to replenish my body with electrolytes due to the amount of fluids going right through me! I began drinking back electroylites (sports drinks diluted in my water theoughout the day) and made sure to eat foods with "good" sugars to cure the light-headedness. That worked within the first week and I havent experienced either symptom since. Both of these products ARE crazy-powerful hunger suppressants. Just don't ever take them as an aid to starve yourself! I keep reading comments from people who are so excited to try this product in hopes that itll help them skip meals and not consume extra calories. Your body NEEDS three meals a day regardless... and you need it even more if you're taking this dietary supplement! This product should only be used as an aid to help curve your appetite if that's something you struggle being in control with otherwise.(I had poor self-dispicline in managing my meal portions) It shouldn't be used to "make you" skip meals or fast for days. That is dangerous! Im not gonna lie, Nuvida and Unitrim DO make me feel like I could go the whole day without eating, but it's important that I make myself sit down and eat throughout the whole day. Doesn't have to be 3 perfectly balanced meals a day, but your body needs the nutrients from all food groups badly.(post continued in following comment) Also,(like another user commented in this thread) there's the metabolism thing. It's a catch-22. Sure, you'll initially see inches lost and pounds drop if you skip meals or fast, with the help of this product. You arent eating, so your body burns its stored fat to keep you alive. But this weight loss won't last more than a couple of weeks. When you skip meals, your body goes into incomuntary starvation mode like you're literally about to starve. It can't differentiate from you taking a tiny pill, to being left to starve in the Sahara desert! Your body will automatically slow down your metabolism and cause you to pack on pounds or retain large amounts of water... AND since you now drink more water because of associated dry mouth symptoms, you can easily gain back 10 pounds in water weight in just a couple of days' time! Although you continue to take these pills that are supposed to increase metabolism, you're wasting $50/month because you have no food in your body to metabolize. Since your appetite will probably be significantly suppressed, and/or if you also have to make yourself eat. I suggest eating a raw salad or snack on a fruit/veggie. Also... having a daily serving of fruits, veggies and most juices(not artificially sweetened)that are high in natural sugars like bananas, grapes, pineapples, carrots, peas, beets) will most likely remedy any light-headedeness issues. (^ CONTINUED FROM BEFORE)
MY ONLY COMPLAINT AND REOCCURING SIDE EFFECT: I have and continue to experience, almost daily, a jittery feeling. I take a pill every morning at 8am and by lunch, I am noticeably jittery. This feeling lasts no more than a couple of hours and then completely subsides. I guess its the initial interaction of the pills' contents entering my blood stream. This is and was the case for me while taking Nuvida and Unitrim. I've drank nothing but water and decaf coffee for the past year, so I attribute this expected (albeit unpleasant) side-effect to my body being reintroduced to the caffeine or caffeine-like ingredient this pills contains. Consequently, on days that I skip taking a pill, I have a slight headache around that same time, at lunch. I attribute this to the caffeine redraws. The jitters are annoying, but is that slight side effect worth it for me? ABSOLUTELY!! I'm not for sure about all these allegiations of multiple users on here being conspiracy theorists trying to push their products? Could be. All I know is that I'm not a seller or, in any way, associated with the distribution of this product, and I feel compelled to publicly endorse! I've only been using it for a little over two months now, but my results have actually shocked me, my family and coworkers. Im not for sure if/when my rapid weight loss will slow down or plateau, but it hasn't yet. I'm eager to keep losing more weight! When my body doesn't seem to respond so well anymore, I'll try alternating weeks of taking the pills... to see if that'll jump-start the effectiveness again. Also, just my two cents to certain people in this thread... Don't attack people or accuse people of being dishonest when they claim this product didn't help them lose weight or had overwhelming negative side effects for them! You have no reason to believe their being deceptive based solely on the fact that it worked for you! After witnessing my rapid weight loss, my sister purchased a bottle of Nuvida for try for herself. She took it everyday for 18 days and only lost 1.5 pounds! She claimed it did not suppress her hunger, but caused extreme nausea and insomnia. After we read this thread, there was a person my sister identified with as having a "distant foggy feeling" that she couldn't quite describe and has never experienced before taking Nuvida. I asked her if it was just being light-headed and she said no; that she can recognize feeling light-headed and having tunnel vision and this feeling isnt that. She explained it as being vaguely similar to being in a state of intoxication. Like a super mild high like you'd get from opiates, marijuana, etc. Sooooo, I don't know what's up with that? Perhaps it's some sort of natural herb in the pill can have sedative effects on certain people? Does anyone know for sure or have another explanation? Anyone else experience that particular side effect? |

My husband loved this stuff, but ended up with narrow gauge glaucoma which I attribute to the the pills. He had high preasure in the past. If anyone has EVER had a high preassure reading in their eyes, PLEASE don't risk blindness.
My husband drives for his profession so his job is at risk. He is taking four eye drops twice a day, and sees his doctor about every six weeks (not covered by insurance. it has cost us a lot of money, in addition to the continual risk of total blindness and unemployment. There is a glaucoma warning on the label, which he did not read until it was too late. |

My husband loved them, but when he was diagnoised with narrow guage glaucoma, I made him stop taking them. That is one of the side effects warned against: don't take if you have ever had a high pressure reading in an eye test. He is now on four eye drops twice a day, and has had two surgeries that were minimally successful. Eye doctor visits are quarterly, and his vision is not really correctable, although he can still drive. He did gain weight when he stopped taking them, and attributed it to the cravings coming back. He said they kept him from desiring cokes, and he didn't feel hungry while he was taking them, but he snacks a lot now. |
