But the ones you are taking now ARE working, correct? and those you purchased from http//:www.zeng.co.uk.? I had to read back a bit but I want to be sure...
Yes, that's the site. I started taking them on July 1st. I weighed myself this morning, which was the 9th. I already lost 5.2 pounds, without exercise.
Read Emmas comments, she told me about this site. She already lost over 30 pounds in 9 weeks.

Thank you very much for your answer!
Jewels can you tell me what are the sellers that I should avoid please? Their names please? It is very important to me? What is your nickname on Ioffe I would look only at which you bought ...
Thank you
I don't remember their names. I purchased from about 3 seller who claimed to be the real deal. I don't trust that site at all, it's a waste of money.

When I took Lida for the first time it was February 2007, the powder was a dark beige color. I stopped taking them in April, by that time I went from 136 pounds to 110 pounds.
My weight varied from 109-112 pounds after I stopped. I am 5'4 by the way. Never had a health problem after the pills. But those I bought from a girl that sold them in Oregon.

It looks to me like you are seeing similar result Emma with these pills you are taking now. They seem to be working for me to. This new formula is just not as strong, I was jittery and extremely thirsty and light headed on the old formula.

All I know is fake pills didn't work at all, they came in yellow powder, beige, dark beige. Didn't matter, none of them worked for me and I purchased them on ioffer.

Morning Ladies,

thanks for all you replies - I am comforted to hear that the problem with the fakes is that they do not work, rather than they are dangerous, these definitely work!

I'm still really concerned about the side effects and the fact the FDA listed them as dangerous just last year :( but i'm monitoring the situation - i dont have the heart palpitations that some peope mention so i guess that's a good sign but the headaches, constant lack of sleep and dry mouth are causing me a bit of an issue. i'm going to get my blood pressure checked next time i'm at the Dr's just to be on the safe side.

Weigh day again today, another 3lb lost :) 34lb in 10 weeks - all the advice i've seen says not to take them for more than 3 months, they suggest a 2 to 3 week break at that point, am a little worried what will happen to my weight during the 3 weeks and if the side effects will be as awful when i re-start them as they were initially?

Has anybody had any experience of 'taking a break'?

Oh and just to confirm, yes as Jewels said i used www.zenj.co.uk
(glad to hear they're working for you Jewels, how long til the holiday?)

I ordered on ioffer while being very skeptical, whatever I prefer to have them by my fiance's friend who buy them directly on site (in China)...

I still haven't received the box which I ordered on Ioffer and still happy that I ordered only one... So, I'll tell you if the pills work for me cause I've a lot of weight to lose !

Do you think Lida work for persons like me ?(see on the top I wrote my weight...) I mean it work for very fat persons ???

Lamya, these will definitely work, especially if you get the good ones from China. They worked for my Aunt, but that's when they had the old version.

I will tell you this though, do not take two pills at once of the old formula. I had the worst experience ever! When I used these in 2007, I took them for about a month, and than I noticed that for a couple days I haven't lost a single pound. So I thought I would take two pills, in case my body was used to them already, I would increase the dose. Huge mistake! I couldn't get out of bed that entire day, if I tried to get up, instantly I would faint. I tried to get up to use the restroom because I drank buckets of water, I couldn't, I am not joking, I crawled to the restroom because I couldn't stand on my feet, they caved, I couldn't control my legs like they were numb. The next morning I was completely fine, like nothing happened. But definitely the worst experience.

Hello everyone
I just can't seem to get one thing out of my mind...
if these tablets really are totally natural with no side effects as thr box says why are there any overweight people in the world? Obesity is such a huge problem - why wouldn't Dr's just prescribe these tablets?
Has anyone told their Dr they're taking them?
What do you think?

Jewels, thank you for telling me your experience ... for the high-dose pills are really in Daidaihua and other Chinese herbs, so if I do not lose weight, I will not take two pills is important to knowledge. Thank you !

I'll tell you the results of lida for me knowing that I had ordered a box on the web before going through the friend of my fiance ... I really hope to unlock my weight loss with these pills.

I am very eager and hurried to receive them and to share with you my personal experience with Lida.

First, sorry for my English, I don't speak very well so sorry for my sentences and mistakes ;-)

I think everything is about money, these pills are like any other drugs and dietary supplements they have some side effects if you don't take them correctly it is not because it is herbal it is not side effects !

While in some countries they are banned is not to protect people's health but is about money if Lida enters on the French or English or American market, all local pharmaceutical companies would lose big ... that's why it is forbidden in the first, we must see the reality, we are in a capitalist world where the goal is not to protect people's health but+ to make money...

I give you an example, here in France, the sale of melatonin is prohibited, according to them it is dangerous for health, etc.... when in reality if melatonin enters the French market every sleeping pills do more and it would sell the deficit for the local pharmaceutical companies, however, melatonin is much safer than sleeping pills ...

I think it's the same for lida, you can take the same type of example, sibutramine or other slimming products are permitted and prohibited whereas sibutramine is 10,000 times more dangerous than lida, if it was forbidden in some countries it is above all a question of money and not health ... If lida appears manufacturers of sibutramine and other manufacturers of slimming products will close their businesses!

In my opinion, Lida is unknown to the Western world but very well known in the eastern world and it is all about money ...

Thank you God, Internet exists ! Without it, I would never know that Lida exists !

PS : I'll go to the doctor on Saturday and I'll show her the box of Lida if I received it and I'll tell you more ;)

Hi Lamya
thanks for your response, your English is actually very good!
Your answer is a very interesting point that I had not considered.
My main worry though is that many of the articles I have seen say that Lida tablets actually do have sibutramine in them, which is why they are so effective - as Sibutramine has been banned in the US and UK due to the dangers it poses I am still a little worried.
I would love to hear what your Doctor has to say,
thank you & good luck with your weight loss

Good Morning!

I'm glad to hear that you understand my English or my "FrEnglish" because I learned it in just two years to make some sentence like "My Name Is Lamya, I'm 24 years old" etc ...

Exactly, Lida has been removed from the market because before it contained sibutramine (authorized at the time) and drugs like Xenical, Reductil... were not going to sell because the lida is cheaper than this drugs ... After The Lida's manufacturer has changed its formula follows the "prohibition sibutramine" and actually Lida still forbid because it contains bitter orange, so they will always find an excuse to keep their local business, they know the most obese and overweight bring them a lot of money if their weight problems are resolved, companies that manufacture products slimming will close.

Here in France, Reductil, Xenical has a bit of sibutramine is still for sale and to capitalize on the turnover of the companies at the expense of people's health!

Do not worry, The current Lida doesn't contain sibutramine and it seems to work well for everyone ... I'll tell you if it work for me;)

Hello
I just bought this here in Melbourne Australia
I was actually looking for super slim pomegrante capsules but the Chinese medicine place I went to only had this so I decided to give it a try. It wasnt cheap though $50 Australian for one box, but the guy assured me that they were strong and worked really well. I am starting first thing tommorrow. I have the 2009/02 made ones the guy said they were very strong and never to take more than one a day and drink lots of water! Hope they work for me :) I'm 165cm and currently 81kgs ( 5,5 and 180 pounds roughly for you non metric fokes)
wish me luck. They are also banned here in aus so If they work I hope I can find them again!:)

Oh also I have tried xanical before! Very nasty stuff and almost 150 a box!! It Was not worth the constant oily runny poos. So I'm really hoping that nausea and dry mouth couldn't be half as bad as those nasty side effects of the pricey xanical. I'll give a update with how I go! Cheers

Hi lamya!
Today is the first day I've started taking them. I normally go to bed quite late and wake up at probably midday but today I set an alarm to take them at 5am so I could sleep tonight without any problems. So I took the lida and went back to sleep. An hour and a half later I woke up, and couldn't get back to sleep! I have so much energy, my heart is beating abnormally fast, my mouth is very dry and feels like my tounge is so heavy! I think it must be working. A lol scared though.
Drinking so much water, and ate a banana for breakfast, couldn't stomach anything else.( i normally am so hungry at breakfast I could eat a whole bowl of cereal and 2 peieces of toast!)
I'm really happy that I have gotten real pills :)

It's my second day, feeling pretty bad. A lot of nausea today and food looks and tastes bad to me! I had some cereal for breakfast and couldn't finish it and half a ceral bar. Drinking a lot of water because of the dry mouth. How long does this last? Is this what happens the entire time you on lida? Coz I don't know if I could handle this, I want to work out but I'm so dizzy I can't. Starting to think this is kind of stupid and drastic way to lose weight! But I'll give a few more days and see how I go. Lying down is the worst makes all the blood rush to my head and feel even more sick. Are we posioning ourselves by taking this??
I had to force myself to eat yesterday. I ate around 900calories of good healthy food. Even though I wasn't hungry at all and drank close to 3litres of water!
Checked the scales this morning and I've already lost a kilo!
