Iím a bride that is getting married in 2 weeks. Frosting store supposed to make my wedding cake. I just found out about this situation by my wedding planner (July 1, 2011). No one from the store has contacted me. They have not refunded me on my deposit for my wedding cake. The store might be closed but why do they still have an answering machine on for the store?! Iím very angry with this situation!! Without our deposit money back we might not have a wedding cake!! That's not right at all...

If you were stupid enough to get a wedding cake from these guys then cut your losses and get over it!

The guy still owes my acquaintance a deposit towards an anniversary cake. What a criminal.

Is the guy's restaurant, Fant's, still open? Didn't he get extradited to LV for gambling debts?

In the pokey I hear. You can only write so many bad $20,000 checks in multiple states before it happens. His real loss was the cupcake maker. She was a real looker. She kicked him to the curb when the police came looking.

typical practice in Ocean Springs, jack up the price on relatively low cost food items or call it gourmet and the unsophisticated residents think its the greatest.

I think they were just riding the cupcake craze that was nationwide. I do agree they were gorgeous but not too tasty. Usually dry.
