Turks provide aid in Mogadishu, Somalia, where others fear to tread

On the edge of Somalia's battered capital of Mogadishu, on a hilltop overlooking the Indian Ocean, there's an unlikely oasis of white tents laid out in perfect rows, where foreigners mingle with locals, a bakery provides free fresh bread daily and even the sandy floors are swept.

Turks are taking the risk to help the needy Somalis, but it is time to help ourselves!! Stand up for Somalia and the world. Stand up for what is right and object to what is wrong!!!!

The Somali diaspora are helping by creating lots of businesses back home, and employing as many people as they can. I heard one of the Telecommunications has hired about 6000 or so. I cant imagine how many have been hired in all the hotels that are being build as I write, by the somalis that come from the West, Asia, other African countries and Mid east. Educated Somalis also, go to smaller towns and educate as many people as they can. I know there are some who live outside Somalia and have successful businesses but are sit and wait until a govt is estabilished. There has been also anti-tribal movements going on in and out of Somalia. There is so much positive things going on in South Somalia, that I cant write out all of it all done by Somalis. There is hope and a brighter future for Somalia insha Allah.

Do you realize that last time turks rushed in to places like Somalia was when they had a FAKE JIHAD RECRUITMENT and agitation campaign they put in place in 1914-1918.
This is a bad OMEN for the WORLD.

Mate, that is looking at the situation from a very pessimistic perspective. The Turks are helping somalia and they are doing it in a way of corruption proof for delivering what they promise directly to the people. But every nation has it's own self interest and there is a competition for influence of the third world muslim nations between Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia/Qatar.

Yea, but either you are totally missing the picture or you are part of the picture.
When they declared JIHAD in 1914 they were dreaming of an ISLAMIC world order controlled by a PAN TURKIC EMPIRE.
Don't forget that it was always those with great ambitions that caused major catastrophies for the humanity.

i do mate, it is for the consumption of the illiterates. invoking religion is a winner for support during at times of war and the turks have to. 1914------who were the turk's nemesis and fought against them while alligned with the 'gaalo'? wahabis in saudi arabia. what do they teach now? never allign yourself with a gaalo against muslims.

Turks are now alligned with any enemy entity towards the kurds- many think salahudin was an arab. Kurdistans have suffered more than palestinians. they suffer from british loyalty.
