I'm not apologizing to H. floresiensis, however because they had heads the size of a grapefruit, a brain the size of an apricot, and no chins.

Oh, chins. Watch wenn look that up and find out it's another racist term for Chinese...

Get rid of the burger,YES! It is disgusting in all ways shapes and forms!Don't people realize that they are putting mostly factory farmed animals in their mouths. That means abused baby, mother and male cows from the day of their birth? They are so filled up with hormones and antibiotics to keep them alive and larger than normal so they can make more meat faster for people to eat! It's all around terrible for the animals who never see daylight and for you who eat diseased meat.If you don't believe me and want to live in denial-go for it!It's bad for your heart and causes colon cancer among many other health problems. You can get protien from beans, seeds, nuts, yogurt.all soy products and other foods and never have to touch meat at all.I do and I am alive! If you take one look at a video of inside a factory farm and if you care for animals and think they can feel pain you may cry like I did!
No, I get my beef from ranchers in nd that raise theirs naturally on the prairie, no hormones or garbage. West Dakota kobe.

As for abuse and hormones, why not produce frankenburgers? I mean, all they need to do is extract some bovine stem cells and create just muscle tissue. Feed the mass nutrients in a lab. As it grows, you stretch it out over a movable frame and exercise it so the resulting meat will be the right texture. I guess they could do without that phase if they were producing simulated veal or other immature meat. This process probably wouldn't produce anything which tastes like a prime cut, but it would be perfect for hamburgers, nuggets, and other processed meat items. It seems this process would be greener too and would not produce animal waste. Plus since it is made in a lab without creating sentient beings, cruelty would not be an issue. They might need to give the mass hormones, but only in micrograms and in carefully regulated trace amounts to physiological levels.

If we just ban free will, everything else will take care of itself.

Banning hamburgers would be un-american...I am not a hamburger fan but my kids are, they would be upset.
