I was also there the night that they had the fuss about the cheating I have never heard such craziness, someone needs to tell the employees that they need to leave their personal lives at home. I think the waitresses name was rachael if that helps that manager any.

Went for my birthday. Waited and waited for someone to come to the table just to take our order. We had a coupon for a free appetizer so we got the calamari. Evidently the server/kitchen sent out the dinner size portion instead of the apetizer portion. After they put it on the table they tried to take it back..We got our steaks and then the salads finally came. I had ordered a lobster tail to go with the steak. Didn't come with it so we finished our meal and waited and waited to get the check. We were there for over an hour - mostly sitting and wondering where the h*** was our food, drinks and check. Our waitress was totally involved in a table behind us and they got her full attention (family?) Anyway, as we settled our bill and got ready to leave my lobster tail showed up. I looked at the server like she was nuts. She told me to go ahead and eat it. Yeah, Lobster dessert! As has been stated, the economy forces businesses to really stand out among the competition. Steak places are in abundance. This is definitely one that I won't return to. I would be willing to give it another try if it was only the service. However, for the price the steak, etc. wasn't worth a repeat visit.

My family and I have eaten at outlaws many times and the first few months they were open they had a few kinks and problems as any new business does. We have specifically had problems with a joke of a manager named monica but our problems were quickly fixed by another young lady whom is also a manager.. i believe her name is Linda. she was very polite and professional. It is solely because of her that we have continued going. Now that they have been open a while we get GREAT FOOD and WONDERFUL quick service. I would strongly urge everyone who went in the first few months to give them a second try. We absolutely love it!

For my money and business, I can think of a dozen McDonough area places that have better food and service.

I took a guest and the 4 of us ate and it was good, service was good and all food came out in the correct order - the bread is good and unique with honey butter - steaks were cooked right - medimum and tender - chicken was good and the shrimp dinner was fantastic - too much to eat. I would recommend it and if you dont like it thats what makes the world go around. There are other resturants around, however they dont serve the quality steaks that outlaws serves. I think some people have a personal issue with them. If you want a real professional opinion see what the food critiques think. They give it a thumps up

My husband and I went there and I asked for my steak to be a little pink, instead it was raw. They took it back and threw it in the microwave. The steak came back like leather. Asked for manager, never came to table. Will not be returning. In this economy you would think that these restaurants would have better service and better food to bring in the customers.

I was recently at Outlaws Woodfire Steak and Seafood within the last week. The food was amazing and the service was great. Our server was very nice and talked with us and joked around. Food was cooked just the way it was ordered. I just do not understand you guys. You must be very hard to please because every time I have been to Outlaws I have had a great experience. Everyone has a bad night from time to time. I am looking forward to my next visit to Outlaws!

Went there Tuesday night and dinner was great! The dinner salad was very fresh, and the pork tenderloin was AMAZING! We will be back!

There are about a dozen resturants that are as good or much better in both service and quality of food within 10 miles, don't know why anyone would go there. It will probably suffer the same fate as Up the Creek when it was in that location.

Not so much, I don't eat fast food, but thank you. Good food, like many things, depends on who is eating it. To you it might be good food, to me it is like pig slop. I guess we can respectfully agree to disagree. There is no reason to get angry or make personal attacks, we just have a differing of opinion. All I am saying is that I found the service and food quality substandard when I went to this restaurant, if you like it, good for you. You are entitled to that opinion, just as I am entitled to think this is an awful place.

I went to Outlaws on Saturday. The hostess was very polite, the waitress and servers were great and the food was very good. Now before I get attacked by John Doe, let me point out I do have a very high expectation when I go to a new restaurant or even one I visit regularly. I eat at many fine dining restaurants. Everyone there bent over backwards to make this a great dining experience. I was very impressed.

I am not attacking anyone. I have a different opinion from the time I went. I will be completely upfront and state that I have not gone back, nor will I. The service and food quality was so bad the first time I am not willing to endure a second time. I do not do personal attacks on people. Everyone has their own opinion, and I am just voicing mine.

A group of friends and I went tonigh. Huge mistake. Appetizers arrived before drinks. Well before drinks. My prime rib was very dry and when asked about it by a "manager" (Monica) said she would get another. What I got was a raw piece of mear. Seh waited, hovered would be a better word, while I tried it. I now believe that Monica, the "manager" is the owner's daughter. I asked our server if she was A manager or THE manager. He told me we was A manager and I asked to speak to THE manager who was William. He was lackdaiscal at best and offered to cook my steak some more and I told him I would take it to my dogs. My wife had my steak talen off out bill but they charged sales tax and the "gratuity" based on total. A total RIPOFF in my opinion. While most of the people in our party had good food, mine sucked and everyone agreed service was TERRIBLE. They did manage to remember the 18% gratuity.
Bless your heart,="MokeJones, Please get spell check or at least a 2nd grader to proof read for you next time..Or better yet, Why dont you stick to giving reviews of the Covington Waffle house... Bye Bye, Now...:)

Short story: So glad I didn't let the poor reviews stop me!
CONS - Took an hour to seat unreserved group of nine (hostess repeatedly advised sometimes with too much info), food service was slow (bread came after appetizers), server couldn't immediately answer all questions (but ALWAYS got answers) no king crab on Saturday night? My biggest con is that I had children at the table and think parents should always get extra napkins without asking!
PROS - Excellent location, very good food, server with excellent disposition for changes and questions, generous alcohol portions, quick attentive drink refills, yummy desserts, clean bathrooms.
Kept seeing the billboard heading down I-75S and two families have planned for a year for a steak celebration of a hard won victory. So..we were in the mood to have a good time, and they would have had to REALLY mess up to mess that up, though I'm pretty picky. I can stay home for free, and there aren't too many dishes that I enjoy that I can't make faster, cheaper and better at home. Eating out is a treat for me.
What did we order? Everything! For appetizers: Fried corn, fried green tomatoes, calamari, cheese sticks, chili cheese fries (YUM!) Accidentally got alligator tail (which we ate and now know to order) and then out came the calamari.
For dinner selections we had porterhouse, ribeye, t-bone, prime rib and some crab cake additions. Kids had chicken and ribs. Had to tell little girl to stop sucking on rib bones! The prime rib (this happens) was underdone to my daughters taste, Manager personally removed to kitchen, server returned and it was perfect.(Most times a piece of meat is returned it comes back in ashes!) My ribeye was perfectly medium well with a touch of char - Oh, mommy!
No, everything wasn't perfect and smooth but every need was addressed and we had a great time! I wouldn't come here if I was trying to make a movie or party, but I would definitely come afterward.
If you want to support local business, have good food and a good time, give Outlaws a try.
If you're rushed, angry, or in the mood to tear down sincere effort, use a drive through and go to bed early.

I love Outlaws. Get there salmon. Thats right salmon at a steak house. Its amazing! We always go on Saturday nights and sit at the bar with Natasha. Shes great company and always makes sure we have a great time. And she makes great long islands. And if you order something thats not good she will steer you clear of it. We also sat with Ria a time or two and she is good to. The bar is where it is at!
