I have a young 7 yr old Haas avocado tree. it has produced fruit for the last 2 years. great taste. this year there were a lot of avocados, approx 100 or so. but when it ripens, the narrow part of the fruit drys up and wrinkles. the taste isn't so nutty this year. Did I perhaps overwater it? does it need furtilizer? the last year, i barley watered and no furtilizer, the fruit was great. Any suggestions. 1/2 the fruit is still hanging. its December in southern California.
