Irrigating Avocados At Night

Hello. My family recently purchased an avocado orchard and I'm looking for as much helpful advice as I can get. I have a many questions but I'll start with one or two. I recently learned that Temecula has had problems with water or more specifically, the price/availability of water. I am afraid that is going to happen in my area. I would like to maximize the effect of my irrigation. I am wondering if avocados can be watered at NIGHT? Not only would it help with the cost I believe because of peak hours, I think it would help with evaporation. Naturally, avocados wouldn't receive rain water and sunlight at the same time since then sun would be blocked by the clouds. Thank you to everyone in advance and any other helpful information will be greatly appreciated. Avocados: It's The New Butter!
