By the way, I'm laughing at all this.....because Paula Deen's career sure as h/e/l/l can't be saved by Grand Furniture.

The witness repeated it in LIVE testimony on at least 3 networks, and commentary took it up and replayed it ad nauseum.
No, no, no. The cracker comment was covered on Fox News. This automatically means in wasn't covered by the "lame stream media".

I love the interview when she says slaves weren't really slaves but thought of more as part of the family. I guess she wished she could own slaves. As for the N word. A completely disgusting word when used in any sentence or connotation by anyone. But I'm a yankee, what can I say.

I guess you missed that the original comment was making fun of you/your comment. There was no truth involved in your comment.

Good for Grand Home Furnishings! This leaching of Paula Deen reminds me of the school system that wanted to expel a kid for bringing an aspirin to school for her headaches and of the ABC agents that pulled a gun on the young woman who had water and they thought she had beer. Give me a break people.....where is the common sense these days?? Perhaps folks should remember the biblical verse-- "let him who is without sin, cast the first stone"--not that saying a word that 90% of folks have said at one time or another is sinning--just saying.

" I is what I is", and I should be surprised by this same person using the N word? Not hardly.
