My food was cold and the employees were super bitchy...not impressed
My food was also cold by the time I got it to the table, but then again it was uncomfortably cold just to sit in the dining room because customers kept coming directly into the restaurant from the outside. Obviously, they need to lock that front door on cold days when the mall is open and have customers enter the restaurant through the interior mall entrance. A heat lamp where they carve (and meticulously weigh) the meat might also help.

I think Martin's BBQ Joint in Morgantown is way better. But at least it isn't another McDonalds!

YOU are "illiterate". "Illeterate" is not a word. Please learn how to spell before you call someone else out on their spelling.

Is that what they call the new VW Bug with the little flower vase on the dash? Those cars are cute.

I officially ban any more posts about the New Dickey's BBQ. Like it or not, I view it as being recklessness, insidious, incendiary, defamatory and other Multisyllabic adjectives. Besides, while I am pleased to have a new business that will contribute zero in B & O Taxes, while using all of the Fairmont' Infrastructure and value-added improvements, For FREE, and encouraging visits to Walmart rather than Downtown, I am indeed thrilled to hear the rave reviews.
I will have to sample them, as soon ,as I overcome, the personally bedeviling image my mind generates, by usage of those two words combined together with reference to Food.
I do hope they would reconsider naming it to: " Richard's BBQ"
Carry On!
Now, as the Mayor, I tell you officially; that this post is closed!

Not worth it, imo, if I want good BBQ there is Martins in Morgantown and a Barbeque place at the old Mountaineer Mall that is both better. I said 6 months, well possibly 8 but there is no way they are going to turn over enough business there to last much longer than that.

I've ate at them in Texas and they were adequate comparatively with the fast food BBQ joints here which is what this is. Now if a REAL western BBQ joint opened, it would be awesome here!

I don't live in Marion County but frequent establishments in Marion County a lot. The Firehouse Subs in Fairmont is way better that the one in Bridgeport which is closer to where I live. Aquarium Lounge is great Hell the Bob Evans in Fairmont is Better than the one in Bridgeport. So if white hall is too far for you to travel by all means go to Morgantown and spend close to twice the amount of money to eat. ill continue to come to Marion County.

This place is not bad. The staff seemed pretty friendly. Everyone knows that BBQ takes a while to prepare (good BBQ anyways), so the wait does not bother me. I hope it stays through the summer, because nothing is better than good BBQ when the weather heats up. Here in West Virginia, we love ourselves some meat, and Dickey's gives us the opportunity and convenience to enjoy deliciously prime, well-prepared, good ol' Southern-style BBQ.

Ive not had them yet but my husband has and said it was really good. We were in Fairmont last night and going to dinner and when we drove by Dickeys the place was PACKED! So, it must be pretty good! They had a lot of business.

I, personally, do not care for BBQ and wasnt sure what all they had so we ate elsewhere. I plan on looking for a menu online before the next time I'm in Fairmont :)

Went there today, and it was soooo good. My husband went to Texas a couple months ago, and he said it smells like the bbq places in Texas. They had such a wide assortment of meats to choose from: pulled pork, beef brisket, turkey, chicken, ribs, and a couple more. Lots of sides to choose from. It had fast friendly service. Don't knock it until you try it. Way better than Martins in Morgantown. I only went to Marins once, but we definitely will go back to Dickeys. Check it out: http://www.dickeys.com

The sides look delicious! Think I would try the ham or turkey. Thanks for sharing!
