I would never eat here. They treat employees like complete garbage. Got yelled at when I put in an application for a part time job. Not a nice place.

I guess they don't treat employees or prospective employees any better than they treat sales professionals. I call on a lot of businesses and the last time I was treated with disrespect by a business owner was about 3 or 4 years ago at the former Brathaus in Cary. I was curious to see if it was the same management and it looks like it is. I guess they have not learned much about how to treat people with respect since their last restaurant closed. I certainly won't be spending any money there!

Food is good, waitstaff mediocre, prices better than before. It is nice to have this option in Cary. If only we could get a decent Italian restaurant! German Grille would be even better if they got rid of the bar in the middle of the resaurant, turned down the lights some and allowed people to eat without sharing a table. Americans not hyped up on that idea. Overall German Grille can still be a good place to get a good German meal.

This is a disgruntled applicant, not an employee, who never ate at our restaurant. This review is a total falsehood, intending to cause harm to a new business. Having been raised in a positive Christian German family, I cannot understand the anger and animosity that is directed so personally, and I can only pray for this person. Paul Hoffman, German Grille

Sometimes great chefs just have attitude! I have met the chef, Paul, and his family while eating there, though - and they were wonderful and gracious. The ambiance was very friendly and inviting. The food was unbelievable! We are very fortunate to have this caliber of an authentic German restaurant here in Cary.
