You redneck, goodwill clothes wearing, welfare hillbillies have no problem spending $10 for a pack of cigarettes but you complain about the prices for fresh food that is cooked to order! Keep spending your money on your cigs and scratch offs and stay out of a nice place like Parkside so I don't have to look at your toothless face while I enjoy my meal.

The food there is not that good. The fish sandwhich sucks and the fries are greasy as hell. The place is a ripoff.

Oh quit your jealous rants. The Manikas family has given hundreds of local kids their first job(s) and worked very hard to get where they are today. He k, I remember when all Parkside was was a little shack that served up soft-serve cones. Not to mention that they are incredibly focused on cleanliness & quality... Greasy fries my a$$.... The grease they fry in is changed more often than anyone's around, which is why their fries are light & golden & not brown & caked in grease. Their ice cream machine is taken apart & thoroughly cleaned regularly, and if they have any question as to the product coming out of the machine, they'll dump it out, clean it again, & start over. If you knew anything about the food service industry, you'd certainly appreciate that level of concern for quality. If you think it costs too much, put gas in your car at $4.00/ gallon & drive to McDonald's or somewhere where you have to leave a tip for table service. Otherwise, 1. Be happy to actually have a place to go eat, 2. Be thankful to have a tax-paying business, 3. Enjoy some ice cream on a hot day... Etc. Jealousy over someone else's success is not a very honorable quality for a person.

Very well said Green Monster! As far as the fish goes. I have been to almost all of the other area's Friday fish fries and Parkside's is the best by far!
