Great with fish. I like to grill Salmon without any seasoning and use the block. When the fish is done, simply place directly on the block and let rest for 5 minutes. I bring the whole thing to the table. The longer on the block, the more salt will transfer. When done, I wipe with a clean damp towel and store someplace dry that is free of dust and dirt.
