What a great idea for Paris. Downtown is beautiful. I was home for a visit a couple of weeks ago and was amazed by the revitalization of the square. Can't wait to come back for another visit in the spring will definitely make a visit to this new establishment. Well Done Sherri & Bret

What is wrong with the people of Paris, why do you have to put down hard working people trying to make a living. Here are two people that work hard and put money into their hometown to make it better. Why do you feel you have to make fun of this venture. The spring and summer in Paris is beautiful and this addition to downtown will draw people in and have them spend money in Paris instead of other cities. If the winter is not harsh it will still be nice to sit outside and have a snack and a good brew or a glass of wine, what's wrong with that, nothing! We in Colorado have outdoor brew clubs everywhere, true there are some days that are not a good time for outdoor but then the days that are sunny and cold with an outdoor heater the fresh air it is a beautiful experience. Good luck Bret and Sherrie!!!!!

First off, this isn't Colorado. Next, they are not well liked here by many people because of the way they treat people outside of their circle. Did you know they staged a walk out at one of the churches in the middle of a service? Ask the fire dept what they think, ask past friends of hers how she treats them. People don't forget and will not support anything that they or their son does for the most part.

While ALL people may not like them for one reason or the other, the person who keeps saying they staged a walk out in the middle of service is lying..... I went to church there at that time ( which was over 5 years ago) and there was not "walk out" by ANYONE.....I knew they were leaving, along with several others, but it was done discretely AFTER Sunday School. If you have ever been in EPBC you would know you can leave the classroom area without ever having to go into the sanctuary. Several people left because they didn't like the direction the church was going.....plain and simple. My husband and I stayed for almost a year after that, and we too left. But just to set the record straight, there was no walk out!

Thank goodness this is a free country, you have the right not to go to any of their businesses but do not put down people for trying to make Paris a better place to live, eat and shop, goodness knows Paris needs all the help it can get

So they did walk out and didn't come back.
We're they leading or following.

Exactly what I was thinking!! If you don't like them, don't go! Go somewhere else. At least the building is being saved and put to good use. They don't build buildings like that anymore. Everything is metal buildings and I wish they would outlaw them, they look so cheap! Planning on having a big cup of coffee and something good to eat when they open. Don't be discouraged by all the nay sayers, they are on every page!

Just how many people can fit legally inside the area that is left? After the build out, it appears rather small. It will be given a legal number of patrons that can legally be "inside" the imaginary "front door" because the patrons cannot legally drink on the city sidewalk.

You must have been one of them to know when they left. Tell us, why did they do that? Does it matter if it was done as you say or the other poster who seems to have seen it also? Seems like an immature thing for adults to do. Why not just stop going or did they do it intentionally to cause a scene? Where are they now? Are they planning another incident to show how they roll??
