Finally Getting Sweet on Jioio's Pizza
Most are as good as what you'll find in any American city, but a few miles east of the 'Burgh, there's something truly special.

Service sucks, owners are ruder than rude, and the pizza isnt anything great. Tried it 3x just to make sure and there are much better options around the Pittsburgh area.
Wonder who paid for this review of that restaurant?

Love the pizza, even tho the main ingredient in crust is LARD ! I agree with you about the service and attitude.Try Ianni's on rt 982 in New Derry.A total dive, bad service, out of this world wood fired pizza.

Does anyone have a clone recipe to duplicate the pizza crust at Joio's, Vallozzi's, or Falbo's? All pretty similar with minor differences, but all the flakey, sweet, pastry style. I've failed miserably in my attempts to duplicate, but I have Joio's sauce totally perfected, as well as their salad dressing. Live far away now, and would like to be able to make the pizza I grew up with!

I heard people rave about their pizza, so I ordered some when I had guests. Big disappointment...the crust was way too sweet.
