The government for the first time is proposing broad new standards to make school snacks healthier, a move that would ban the sale of almost all candy, high-calorie sports drinks and greasy foods on campus.

Shouldn't the school meals be left to the the School Board of each individual county?

Why are the Feds involved again? I guess I missed that.

Oh wait, never mind, I forgot, it is about control.

School snacks used to be WHATEVER a student BROUGHT to school from his/her OWN HOME.

Kids didn't have spare change to be feeding a vending machine.
