I like the atmosphere at Panera Bread restaurants. They have nice interiors and make me feel very comfortable. They're not like any other restaurant.

I know so well how you may feel about chain restaurants. My family and I feel very uncomfortable when we find ourselves dining among our hired help. We do occasionally enjoy Ruth's Chris Steak House but of course it's just another chain restaurant organization. I just don't understand from where all these ne'er-do-well dregs of society are emerging.
It is fortunate that restaurants such as Olive Garden and Panera Bread exist. I'm sure the uneducated people such as "hahaha" who are unable to spell "dumb ass" correctly enjoy such venues.
Wow! Do I smell the aroma of blood boiling?

The typical customer of a Panera Bread restauant is well educated, upper-class and affluent. I hope this Panera can be successful in Beckley.
It will be. Plenty of tourists and people from other counties will be there.

I visited the establishment a few days ago for the first and last time. I enjoyed the fairly pricy food. However the manager with the blond hair, I believe her name was Emma or Emily, was very rude and mouthy with two employees. I believe the young ladies names were Samantha and Jaime. They were providing great service and conversation for a lonely old man and when the manager walked to the dining room floor she loudly accused them of doing nothing. Telling these round ladies that the coffee needed replaced the windows needed cleaning and the dishes taken back. I saw nothing wrong with any thing this woman had mentioned as the place looked very clean and I believe that customer service should be above windows. I felt terrible for these two young ladies and tipped them. I enjoyed the conversation and was absolutely appalled at the manager. I would never allow my child or grandchildren to be treated in such a manner. Until they fire that woman or correct her behavior towards others I refused to return.

I have enjoyed the post on here, especially some of the ones hinting at their upper class status, but we have to look at what is reality. Most of those posters are really happy with getting to purchase those loaves of almost out of date bread at the walmart bakery, that is still tasty, but within their price range. They will never be able to eat at Panera Bread, unless they forgo their medications or cable tv for the month. But I guess that is what Topix is for, the dreamers can dream of what could have been.

I have yet to see a pill head/drug addict w track marks to walk into Panera. Perhaps its too much for them to spend on, they would rather spend the money on their drug or pill if choice then Panera food.... so yeah I have to agree the company there is better. So far anyway. And it is a nice change

Only "without track marks", there are pill heads and drug addicts in nice clothes with nice jobs that you might not know the difference unless you live with them or know them personally. They may not be so extreme and careless as to lose their job and not take concern in their appearance, but are addicts of some vice nonetheless. And they like and can afford Panera bread. So do we Really know who/what we see? I mean, but it is nice. N New.

The new Beckley Panera Bread is the smallest one I've ever been to. I was really surprised that it is so small. The tables and chairs are really squeezed into such a small space. Really feel cramped.
