Rouse's is a neat place. I like it because alot of their stuff comes from local, or almost local producers.

Local doesn't necessarily mean better. Remember, everything is local somewhere just like it's five O'Clock somewhere. The only thing local at Rouses is extraordinarily high prices that they sell to suckers who buy into the Cajun scam. Can't you see through their marketing program? It's all show and no go. It only took me one visit to figure this out. How many visits will it take you before you discover you are being taken for an expensive ride?

I'll agree with you that they're not cheap. To be honest I didn't buy anything there but I thought the place was interesting. You get taken for an expensive ride in every tourist town, I know because I live in one myself. But one thing is for sure, most of the locals in your area are damn fine people. I'm not exactly a world traveler but I've never met a nicer bunch of people. It seems like the farther south of Montgomery you get the friendlier the people are. Here there's alot of the "us vs. them" attitude and I'll be the first to admit I've been guilty of thinking like that myself.

I would very much like to see Rouses Markets lend their support to Beacon House: and Eggleston day program on Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach, Va. for brain injury survivors!

I don't care for Rouses store here in Theodore Alabama in the delle the food is horrible. I don't know who they hired to cook food especially Cajun food.
Well, that's what I know for sure.
Their prices are too high also.
It's close so folks go there, I don't any more.
I shop Winn_Dixie.
Thank you for your time
