I have worked at low paying jobs before ,but I was always looking and applying for a better paying job.I had one supervisor tell me "I fought for you to get a nickle an hour but the best I could get from the office was three cents an hour".At the time I was making $1.36 an hour. A year later I purchased a new car and never missed a payment.People have a habit of living above their means, then blaming someone else when they get in a bind.

All the Marxist freeloaders and saps should be happy McDonalds gives so much to their Liberal causes instead of giving the employees better wages. That way, the Marxist Democrats have huge political campaign chests and many other associations and propaganda ministries like NPR to further the Marxist Democrat causes of promoting homosexual access to your children, having huge organizations feeding you misinformation about "causes" and funding of Leftist charity outreach, where the administrators get huge salaries and bonuses. Why would McDonalds employees complain about low wages, when the corporation funds those promoting killing 57 Million babies for convenience and lust? What are they, selfish?

I must agree that in my opinion if there was any company whose leadership was completely devoid of morals is would be McDonalds. In Jonesboro, Arkansas I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars in one of their establishments because it was close to my place of work. One time, recently, I received a burger with no meat on it, perhaps a joke or prank or mistake. I could overlook one mistake and I think occasional mistakes can happen. Once I received a bacon ranch salad and looked at the date on the bottom to see that it had expired but it was served anyway. I guess McDonalds is too broke with their declining same store sales to throw away food. I ordered a quarter pounder well done and had it served to me rare and dangerously undercooked. Since I had spent hundreds of dollars at this location I contacted the corporate headquarter on June 17, 2015 and did not receive a reply until June 19, 2015 that stated "We take your comments very seriously and because we are a franchised organization, we have immediately forwarded them to the franchise owner of the restaurant you visited. We are certain that the experience you described will be fully investigated and the appropriate action taken." I have no evidence that any action was taken and I have yet to hear a word from the franchise owner. I asked that the franchise owner email their response so eliminate any misunderstanding. Like a vampire that cannot stand the light of day I have heard nothing as of 6-29-2015. Since McDonalds corporate headquarters apparently did not followup with this franchise owner and they probably don't care as long as the money flows in, it does not appear they take comments that seriously. They have a custodian at this particular restaurant that takes a metal rod to push the trash down in the wastebaskets and to empty them and after that without washing hands, the soda lids and other materials by the drink fountain are cleaned. In short, they need to clean up. A company may say they take a complaint seriously, but words mean nothing. Even though McDonalds charges outrageous prices for in my opinion subpar food they appear to pay their help very little and this is most unfortunate. I asked McDonalds for the name of the owner of their restaurant and they have yet to provide that information but I have found that without their assistance or effort. I hope that people go public about their experience with McDonalds, how they treat their employees, and their apparent lack of commitment to quality control. I would like to know when was the last time the owners of the particular Jonesboro, Arkansas McDonald's location actually dined in the restaurant they owned. I feel quite sure they did not choose this place as a location for a family reunion, a party, or gathering other than to have a meeting with their employees and I wouldn't doubt that when they did, they brought their own food. They would if they were smart. Speaking of smart, it is time to get the smart phones out and document the real condition of McDonalds restaurants. They will tell you they have cameras but apparently they do not monitor them very well or do and do not care. You will also find that
This is a corporation that is deserving of every bit of criticism they receive. They are the decline and they are getting worse, not better, at least in many locations. You will also find that they do not want any oversight for the most part even from entities like the better business bureau as many mcdonalds restaurants are not BBB accredited for their convenience. They are so defensive that you can no longer order without reading their defense of their practices of their place mats. This giant is teetering and will fall if those who run the company do not change their ways. Try dining in your restaurants. Pay attention to quality. Pay your workers a living wage. I am not particularly concerned about the political views of the owners but i am concerned about their food

Nothing has changed at the Jonesboro McDonalds in question except that business continues to decline. They refuse to say who their franchise owner is. I suggest anyone served dangerously undercooked food take a picture of it with their smartphone and sue them. For those who invest true to my word I have not spent a penny at that McDonalds. Prior to my complaint I had spent over $3,000 there. Not only do I not shop at that McDonalds, I don't do business with ANY McDonalds and have not and will not do business with McDonalds. My coworkers have also noted that I no longer patronize that restaurant and several have also quit patronizing that restaurant as it has gotten worse, not better. One of my coworkers ate there and became very sick. He went to his doctor, a blood test was performed and he had food poisoning. People who know them the best patronize them the least. That tells you something. Since my complaint the restaurant in question has received many complaints of undercooked food. McDonalds said they were sure the complaint would be investigated and appropriate action taken. They lied. If appropriate action had been taken they would not have received several complaints of undercooked food following my complaint. McDonalds should be your last choice. There is no quality in the food and there is NO integrity in their management. That is why I spend zero dollars at McDonalds.

Why doesn't anything think about cooking at home? That way, you can buy organic, make simple meals. I used to be a short order cook, but now it is a set menu. Eat it or don't. There's other options, but you have to make them yourself.

I don't have a choice.(not complaining)
I live in a rural area at least 100 miles from the nearest Micky Dee's as well as other fast food.
I and my wife cook everyday for ourselves from the food we hunt, things we buy while in town and the veggies we grow.

People in the city are too damned spoiled these days and wouldn't know how to cook a home cooked meal if their life's depended on it!

They will be the first to go if and when shit hits the fan.

I've been cooking since I was about 11, if not before. The only time a Big Mac tasted good was after swimming for hours (starving). My dream is to get some land and have my own garden and greenhouse. I've had this before and prefer it to going to the store all the time. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. I've never eaten frogs, squirrel, raccoon, etc. but it seems the Robertsons in Louisiana eat all game hunted from the wild.

After they arrested them, they shoulda sent them all to Uganda for a couple days. McDonald's wouldn't end up paying these wages, the franchisees would. It would bury them and make the cheap crap good not cheap anymore. Simple economics. It's a pointless issue as is. I worked as many did in the burger flipping world in Highschool..It was a starter job, grab a few bucks. It's not meant to support thirty ungrateful entitled beaners DESTROYING every town they infest. Screw these people and try protesting back in that horrid dumphole of a crooked country your so proud of. Grow some nuts Mexicans!!! Take that toilet of a country back STOP destroying ours.

McDonald's is already going downhill and stores closing. I used to appreciate that if you were on the road on a holiday, McDonald's might be one of the few places open. Now, I would plan to carry my own food and snacks from home for everyone.

It is simple economics. I hear there's a razor thin margin in there and That would be a 7.75 jump from min. wage and just isn't a possibility that I can see. I never worked in fast food, but I did work in a regular restaurant. I was able to figure out that the salary was inadequate and it pushed me to attend college and get some real work skills. From that, I got a full-time job with benefits. However, I had to commute, so the cost of the commute had to be figured in and also, I had to buy a meal instead of having food available from the restaurant job.

I just saw a Food Wars Food Court competition. One guy had been working food service in a restaurant to support more than just his family. His team won and he got his own restaurant.
