Bloomberg, Obama chat over breakfast eggs in NYC

Mayor Michael Bloomberg has vowed to keep out of the presidential race, but he can't seem to stay away from it _ he and Democratic candidate Barack Obama had a breakfast date in Manhattan.

The billionaire mayor and the Illinois senator chatted over eggs and potatoes early Friday at the New York luncheonette on East 50th Street.

The topic of conversation was anyone's guess.

Bloomberg spokesman Stu Loeser declined to say why the two were meeting. Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said the men share a similar view: that Washington has been consumed by partisan politics. Read more

As I read all the comments here I began to get the feel that the Obama supporters are really stretching to justify their support to the undecided who are obviously slowly starting to run away from the man who CANNOT BE TRUSTED with the most important position we have for our future. The Obama / Wright / Imus / Razko controversies proves one thing to me. Obama is very adapt and qualified to explain his way out of everything -even better then slick Willie himself. This is not about the details of how he does it. It's all about who the real man is and what type of change he is talking about making to America and future Americans. I will now make the stretch that Obama is more about changing how "typical white" people feel and react to their fears and concerns in matter so personal as race, crime and their effect on us all. Yeah he may be white enought for some but he is not wright enough for me. Vote Hillary or be doomed to 100 more years of war, high oil and middle east influence in America.
