I use to go to teos with my parents when i was five years old and nothing in that building has changed ..maybe the bartender. still looks the same now as it did then . i agree the girls behind the counter should dress a little nicer sweats are for home . as far as gloves go well i beg to differ that they will melt i work in a resturant and i have to wear gloves and i work around very hot food they do not melt i also have to wear a net and a hat to keep my hair out of the food and that is a board of health regulation. in all states i dont understand how they can get away with all the dirt and grim what are they afraid to clean the board of health needs to get involved and make them clean up there act . and as far as them being cheap i remember dogs being 25 cents and now they are 1.25 high way robbery and there sauce sucks they dont even make the same recipie that they use to so now i make my own sauce here at home and it taste just as good if not better.and you can get the dogs and rolls right at astro beef or whorleys. and i figured i make them for less than 75 cents each
Actaully you can get the dogs at Harrys and the buns too. Sit in front of your tv and eat twenty if you like. I just steam them for a few minutes and start pounding them down with mustard, relish and chopped onion. I don't need no sauce

The problem with latex gloves is that the only protect the wearer from germs. They handle money, scratch themselves, touch other people and then handle your food, the gloves do nothing for you.

The board of health is a joke, they don't even investigate legitimate complaints.

Teo's always had better dog than the hot dog ranch but Teo's has gotten dirtier than ever and they never where gloves.
The last time I was there I stood in line behind someone who sneeezed in their handful of money then paid for their food.
The person behind the counter then started to make my food with those filthy hands. That was it for me and I walked out.
I can't believe it isn't against the board of health regulations to not wear gloves. I mean really, who wants to consume the sweat, blood, dirt, germs or whatever else may be on someone's hands who are preparing your food.
I now go to the Hot Dog Ranch. The sauce isn't as good, but at least it's clean and they wear gloves.
It is against health regulations not to wear gloves.... if you ask them to wear gloves will making you food they should comply without complaining.. Not sure how they get away with it. Mc Donalds is the same way.

They are suppose to change gloves after each order they make. And especially after they handle anything other then food. Like money.. bottles of booze etc.

Nothing worse than trying to micromanaging the handling and serving of a hotdog. You must hate barbecues. God you're awful!

Of course they wear gloves at the hot dog ranch. Most of the workers have Hepatitis C and AIDS.
For real that place is disgusting! The only thing it has is nostalgia and the owner is a Yankee fan f them! Lol I'll go with an all beef organic dog with lacto fermented sauerkraut and mustard made by my disease free redox loving hands.
