Some important areas of interest......The staff appeared frustrated because of the demand placed on them by customers.....The average wait time was 48 minuets and the menu was set up to satisfy everyone's taste......The out door seating area is very small and does not meet the comfort that customers might look for.....When I got my order it was not correct.....Remember the clam shack is a take out parking lot fast food eatery....A large issue involves serving and cooking food......I did. not see any worker with gloves or head covers......they seemed to be in an over crowed work area......Iggy's is a true winner in this market.area.......2 out of 10 stars......

I feel bad for the Warwick Reviewer. I had a shorter wait, The largest clam roll I have had in a long time and the lobster roll was stuffed for only $9.99. We then drove down to the Oakland Beach sea wall & watched the line at iggy's. By the way, we sat on benches to wait for our order.

The first comment was obviously written by the owner of Iggy's. I was visiting home from Virginia. Rhode Island for 40 years. Sea food lover, cook, and all things RI. This place is amazing. I had lobster and steamers, corn and french fries. 16.00 for all. Food was perfect. I waited no longer than I would have anywhere. There was a guy playing guitar under a gazebo. Yeah, outside on picnic tables, byob, hanging in the sun. Love love this place. I went 4 times when I was home, and have planned another trip in October so I can eat there before the weather changes. This place is wonderful. It's so RI. I love it. Actually got to meet Tommy. He came out to see how everything was. Great guy. There is plenty of room to sit and eat, while listening to music having a cold beer! Need I say more!

I have been here 4 times since it opened and I find the food absolutely delicious. I always get the fish and chips and the chowder and clam cakes. My family and I all agree that the freshness of the take out here is the best we've tried in this area. The chowder does not taste like it's from a can ( ahemmm! FRESH!)and it's so good to have everything nice and hot. In other words, the hot fish is not slapped on a mound of COLD fries, like that place down the street. For me, the quality has been consistent. Good portions and reasonable prices. This is a CLAM SHACK people, not a wine and dine with cloth napkins. Go there for the food, take it home and enjoy, or park at Oakland Beach. I'm so fortunate to live only 3 minutes away. Love it.
I went over there today and it was closed. I was so disappointed... AH well..
