What is WRONG WITH THIS NATION; THEY ALLOW BABIES TO BE KILLED IN THE NAME OF WOMAN'S RIGHTS... THE UNBORN WOMAN (baby) DOESN’T HAVE A RIGHT WHERE IS HERS. A animal has more rights than a human. What is wrong … They allow killing a baby before it is born by crushing the head. But a woman a person makes a slip of a tongue and she is destroyed. A WORD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HUMAN LIFE. Wal-Mart, Sears, etc. I use to admire your stores now I can only think your bosses, owners ARE STUPID. You most likely did something wrong & you got away with it. She apologized and you condemned her…

The Food Network has incompetent management in making a rash politically motivated decision, as do the other companies who acted like lemmings and followed the trend.

I am not sure what Paula dean has to do with abortion. I do think this whole thing with her though is extreme.

Seriously and sears will support Kim kartrashian junky clothes. A tramp who made a sex tape. Gets pregnant while being married to someone else and has a child out of wedlock. So that's ok????? But than again who shops at sears??? It's projected to go belly up by next year. Paula will overcome this. She's such s sweet lady in person. Even Al sharpton and Jesse Jackson are coming to her defense.

Makes you wonder... would we drop a bigger brand if its CEO slipped and made a racial comment somewhere? Like, say, CEO of Pepsi-Co for example? I'd say absolutely not. We just didn't have much money tied up in her products, so why not make it look like morals/ethics are a priority in our decision-making. It's laughable.

Funny you mention Al Sharpton. One of his minions pushed Jackson to file a suit.

they aren't comparable. Paula dean is the brand. The ceo at pepsi is just that, the ceo and he would be fired.

As a nation we are more than willing to accept a lying, cheating, adulteress president than a woman who said something off the wall almost three years ago? There are very few people in the world who are truly non prejudice in my opinion. And being prejudice is not really about color ..it's about anything, anyone who is different acting or looking other than your self or the norm. For instance how many of you can HONESTLY admit to wanting to wait on a well dressed, well spoken person, versus a over weight, crack head looking piece of whatever? It is a proven fact that the first three seconds you lay eyes on a person, you have made your decision about them.Granted you may change your mind once you talk to them or get to know them, but the first three seconds still linger in your mind. We ALL do it every day day, that is being prejudice also, don't you think.
On a lighter note, I am so damn sick and tried of people complaining about "they are or were offended" by something or someone.I don't know about ya'll but I get offended all the time,do I whine about it ..no. Just like the really cute guy in the store today,um but his shirt was offensive, because it said .. I am one bad ass Mother F...(um fill in the blanks)but I got over it, and sent him on his way. Uncouth to say the least. Ok am done, hope tha hell no one is OFFENDED :)

It was just a passing thought, but I'll give you that one. You get the basic idea behind the point though.

Only if he used the same word. There have been ceo's bashing gays for years, using slurs, and making derogatory comments, and they are all still working. Alec Baldwin still represents Capital One. Paula used a word 20 years ago that blacks use themselves today, and everyone drops her. Why? Because blacks are protected by the race card, and every other class of people is fair game.

I am so sick of hearing about this! Everyone makes mistakes! No one wants to be judged by what they did years ago, they have matured. When you know better you do better!
