You want to double the minimum wage to help out the workers? Expect to pay double the price for that Big Mac you get every week. Basic economics is something you've never heard of.

So tell your dirtbag son to get off his lazy ass and do some real work, and he'll get some real pay. Otherwise, quit your complaining. You losers aren't going to get something for nothing.

I don't get idiots like you. If they raise the minimum wage, the cost f everything goes up. So, no benefit to te loser who works for minimum wage. So, if your son has kids he can't afford, as he considered putting one or two of them up for adoption? Give them a chance atr a better life? If you get educated and get stable before you have kids, this wouldn't be an issue. People are just lazy and stupid.

<quoted text> Especially when all the illegals here will work any job for less and expect no benefits. Thats why they want to make them legal so the rich can get richer, plenty of workers for the chicken and egg factories thats dangerous to your health, landscaping, food service and all the other filthy long hour jobs that employers want to pay so low that they can live like kings while workers lack proper food, health care and necessities. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is something alot of employers have never heard of.
This mentality would explain why you are a minion and not a business owner. It's called capitalism. Moron.

How about getting up out of that shit hole town that has no descent paying jobs and go somewhere that does. Everyone on here talks about drugs taking over their town and no jobs..then move!! Newsflash...it will never change it will only get worse. Stop bitching about it and better your lives or stay stuck in chillicothe because you think everywhere else is worse. If you ask me I wouldnt live in chillicothe if a house was given to me. It looks like the hood. All you see are junkies on every corner and nothing but kids runnin the streets stealing shit. Everyone looks like zombies and everyone sleeps with everyone. It is way worse than columbus. Atleast columbus has more opportunities

Oh, yes. It's always the republicans, isn't it? Just wait until the dollar collapses. You liberals don't want to believe your pathetic president was spying on the German Chancellor. It has nothing to do with national security and everything to do with the fact that the administration has recognized that the dollar will likely collapse on obama's watch. And they are trying to figure out what to do when the dollar is no longer the reserve currency. Sorry, I know I used a lot of big words. If I lost you I apologize. Now, go bury your head in the sand again.

They ought to change SNAP to where you can only buy healthy foods. Not birthday cakes and doughnuts. They wouldn't have to cut SNAP then.

Your son is lazy, and doesn't want anything but handouts. Sounds like it runs in the family. That's your problem, not mine.

About damn time. That's what happens when people make living off the government a way of life. Period. You have exhausted it financially, and now you're going to see more cuts. People who work jobs experience this same thing at times. Brace yourself, or perhaps get a job.
I'd rather feed, clothe, and house every low-life in the state than see one child go hungry. You seem to have a pretty firm grasp of how some manage to cheat the system. Surely you can see that if their SNAP budget is reduced, they'll still find the money for their lifestyle. Junior will just be getting fewer meals. Hardly something to cheer about. The ones abusing the system aren't missing out. It's those who really DO need it that suffer.

I couldnt agree more! I would rather make sure the children r fed. Its not their fault that they were dealt this hand. Alot of people abuse the system which sucks for the ones that do need a little help.

If trickle down economics worked, this country should be swimming in jobs. Instead, it's being hoarded and sat on by the same people who prod and spew the class warfare they started 30 years ago.

There's work out there that pays well, contrary to your doom and gloom attitude. The fact your boy refuses to take these jobs tells me that he's either lazy, or just doesn't give a rip.

You folks keep collecting your food stamps to buy your pop and cigarettes. You can thank me later for paying for them.

Everyone knows that this area has seen all the factories close which has helped close many other small businesses since the workers had no money to spend. What I have seen is all our jobs being sent out of our country and billions of tax payers $'s sent to foriegn countries such as the 16Billion just handed to Pakistan, a country that is more our enemy than friend. If we had kept the jobs here along with all the money they send to other countries we would not have the economic problems we have now. I agree that we need to investigate fraud in the food stamp program but there are more people that have valid reasons for being on them and use them properly. I have seen people hold jobs at RCA in Circleville and doing just fine paying their morgage and taking care of their family and then the factory closes and all the people are trying to find other jobs which were scarce to begin with. Our small towns are the ones hurting the most but you have to have quite a bit of money to uproot your family(when houses aren't selling) and move to big city where you didn't want to raise your children in unsafe neighborhoods. So, you keep trying because we are told the economy will get better but how long have they been saying that and its no where on the horizon. I am one of the lucky ones and I don't take that for granted, I am all for helping with food stamps instead of sending my tax money to other countries. I also have noticed in the time of wars, which seems to be all the time now, that it is the very poor who serve with the hope they can use their service training or G.I. Bill to get a good job and take care of themselves and familys. OF COURSE THAT DEPENDS IF THEY MAKE IT HOME ALIVE AND IN GOOD HEALTH. And if you who can't get enough food for your family do not forget all the churches and food pantrys that help, I voluteer and contribute to one and hope it helps someone until better times come their way. To the mother and her son, keep trying and keep your chin up, don't listen to some of these posts because someday, thru their job elimination or health problems, they will be on the other end of "the stick".
