Yes, Putin's miscalculations and obvious incompetence are truly beyond belief!

Frustrated Teabagger losers aside, the free and prosperous West has many customers!

Russia buys a puny 3% of Canadian pork exports....The US buys 67% and even China buys 9%! Big deal! Pork prices are strong now and new buyers will quickly be found....who aren't fascists who invade neighbouring countries to steal territory!

Russia is dysfunctional and puny, it's a joke and has an economy the size of Italy under the corrupt fascist Putin.

Russian will be left only with the cast-off refuse of more discerning markets like China, or African developing countries to fill the empty supermarkets of Fascist Russia!

Russians better prepare themselves for long lineups in breadlines.

At least until the food aid from Europe, Canada and America arrives......

The moron is certainly not abusinessman and doesn`t know how business works. Even loss of several % of income can make one unable to pay off his loans and make him a bunkrupt. For EU export to Russia is 10 % but for many companies it`s a way more than that. Farmers take loan in spring to pay off in autemn and some of them will probabbly go bunkrupt if EU will ot bail them out. This is definitely not what EU was thinking about imposing sanctions on Russia.

And the reason abo is why the EU Puppet government should have thought about people like their farmers who are feeling this impact, prior to following suit to the demands of the US. Russia will never back down, we will never surrender, and we will always find a way to come out on top. I can't wait until Russia turns Kiev into a resort town so I can go and vacation there after a quick stop in Crimea.

Doesn't matter who made the material American engineers use to mold it. I was surprised to read that Airbus put you kholkhozniks at Irkutsk to make landing gears for their plane. I understand krauts being forced to buy that frog kholkhoznik junk called Airbus because of guilt caused by events of 1940, but why on earth would we hear order it. I think Finnair should have search if any landing gears or other parts of those Airbus's were made in Irkutsk or other kholkhoznik dives and than cancel those orders. The frogs are bound to exprience their Tupolev moments, if Airbus indeed has cooperation with you kholkhozniks. How on earth did those idiots frogs hire you kholkhozniks to make the landing gears, why not toilets.

It matters a lot, because Russian titanium is the best in the world and it makes up the most of the market. If Russia stops to export titanium, as well as some other rare metals, the prices will skyrocket and boengs will be 2 or 3 times more expesive as well as airbuses. That will not happen to Russian made airliners.....

Only thing that matters is who asembles what. Anyway Russia and USA are overpopulated. There is no need for kholkhozniks like you to fly. I say provide flying services to American and Russian elite so they can visit places like Finland and Germany while rest of ya kholkhozniks and yankee corn pickers drive with your pick up trucks and Lada's. Only reason why Stalin and Roosevelt even build airports to various Russian and American dives were to show "strenght" to fascist regimes. You peasants didn't even have airports at our border until 1939.

I think Canada should ask Israel to buy all that pork. I heard Harper and Netanyahu are best pals. I'm sure they will help.

Nobody really cares that much for foreign food in Russia. If you check Russians abroad - everywhere they live they have special Russian grocery shops filled with all kinds of food imported from Russia and former Soviet. I don't think they will miss much anything about the French cheese :) I've been to many Russian grocery shops abroad, never seen any French cheese or Belgian waffles - everything is very Russian in those stores and that's what everybody eats. I could live on that for the rest of my life with no problems, it's a very diverse cuisine. I'm yet to find bread that nearly matches the Russian quality anywhere. Everything is sh*t compared to Russian quality bread. That's what I miss at the moment.

Problems could begin to get fixed if EU supporters began to admit that the actions taken by Russia in response to your sanctions are hurting the EU more than helping. Stop trying to hide behind a bunch of smoke and mirrors and realize that backing the West was a major mistake.

Russia can easily replace western suppliers with ones from Latin America, Asia and Africa. No shortage of food is expected.
As for breadlines, Russia does not import wheat at all. In fact, Russia is one of the biggest exporters of wheat. The 3d or the 4th one in the world, I believe.

Twice the price difference would not make any difference in the airplane market - nobody would buy Russian passanger airplanes anyway.
