All the Moroccan citrus fruit will be bought by the Russians now....and Spain will take market share in rest of Europe and America....The total social loss will be very little....but Russians will be reminded every time they go to the Supermarket that they are in opposition to the entire Free World....good luck with that in 2014!

Yeah, everyone knows how quality russian food is, it's famous worldwide.
I remember seeing people actually queue round the block for a mcdonalds. In the West our pets are better fed.
Is that why we have food banks all over the place?

Russian food is so terrible...Matryoshka Deli here in Sunny Isles Beach, their soup tastes of smelly feet.

Also, Ive noticed that many of the Russian boys here in Miami are pipe cleansers and that most of the girls are carpet cleaners.

No one ever ate saw dust in Russia, but my grandmother told me how they ate frozen potatoduring the 2ww. It didn`t stop Red Army to defeat German nazis and take Berlin though. If you think that pathetic western santions are going change Russian policy go and visit a doctor. Russians, unlike Canadian peverts, are not slaves of their stomach.
If there is a country that can live in self-sufficiency, it's Russia.

Also, Russians can endure more sacrifice than any nations I know.

If the threat is perceive to be coming from abroad, the Russian people will be behind their government too, as harsh as it can be.

It will concentrate minds on speeding up programme deadlines for alternative sources of energy already under way. Nuclear, shale etc. Or force governments to reverse environmental laws and increase coal consumption/ carbon emissions. More people would die during winter in the short term. Such a move would just harden attitudes towards Russia.
