The problem with vitamins is absorbing them or getting the body to. Example, some experts say you should take magnesium and zinc to get the body to absorb zinc. Calcium is the same way-many say vitamin D and magnesium should be taken with calcium.

Many of the fat soluble vitamins are only good in liquid or fatty oil form since the body mostly burns or stores them in fat cells,

The problem with any study are the subjects, their diet, health and/or activity level. How controlled was the study. Inactive blob people would probably have less need for the minerals you might sweat out as would they burn the fat solubles at a slower rate.

Vitamin are one of those things if don't get you'll notice a difference but mega doses or extra is in question to benefits.

This panel is accurate in how it points out the poor results many supplements produce. But it's not emphasizing a critical point:

The only effective nutrition in many cases - especially when we're discussing vitamin A and E - comes from natural vitamins, not synthetic. And from whole foods. The studies all used synthetic and isolated nutrients. Our bodies cannot use them.

However, if you get your vitamin A from whole foods or whole foods supplements, the evidence shows it can give you extraordinary benefits. That's one of the reasons so many people are seeing great results when they start adding supergreens to their diet. Easy to take in a powder form or tablet, these greens give you nutrition in their complex and natural form that your body can use.

Here's a great explanation of why these supergreens are so good for you from a holistic doctor:
