I had dinner at your restaurant tonight. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it a 3. Some of the things I did not like: 1. I ordered chicken soup with Kreplach. I got the mish mosh and it was so salty I could hardly eat it. 2. According to the review of your restaurant there was supposed to be Boar's Head pickles on the table. There were none. 3. I was hoping to have a soup and half a tongue sandwich. I was really ticked off that of all the meats you had, you charged $2 extra for tongue. That's $2.00 more for a half sandwich! I refused to pay the #2.00 and had a pastrami sandwich. 4. I was charged $2.50 for a glass of hot water and a tea bag. Incredible. I don't think I will be going back to your restaurant. I ate at Schlomo's for the first time and thought the service was great. I had the mish mosh soup and it was delicious. The Rueben sandwhich was my favorite and the kugel was wonderful. My sister and I enjoyed our lunch so much, she has already been back with her husband and tonight we will bring our friend that is visiting from out of town. Yummmmy

That's what it sounds like to me, so Fred go eat at Micky D's dollar menu that should satisfy your crappy taste as well as your cheapness..

I personally think the food is delicious and Tucson was waiting for a New YOrk Style Deli. The comments above sound like they are coming from immature workers who no longer are employed by Shlomo and Vito's. A Happy Customer

Was so hoping that this was going to be the "Jew Food" I grew up on and was severely dissapointed. I ordered Chopped Chicken Liver and it had absolutely no flavor. My grandmother made it with onion, egg etc...this had none of these things for flavor. NONE! and it was $12.00 for maybe 1/4 cup of the liver. They don't even have Lox and Bagel as a menu item. You have to ask them for that? OVERPRICED, BLAND, GENERIC. As much as I hoped for this, I am equally dissapointed. Tried 2 times, won't go back.

I have eaten there 3 times now. I love the place!! My favorite foods are: knishe, hamantaschen (they shine with this one), and the succulent gefilte fish. For dessert you can't beat their sufaniyah.

You act as though you were surprised about the cost of the items especially the tea.

First time we had lunch and it was terrific. Next time we went for breakfast and things seemed to have changed: 1. appeared disorganized e.g., no host/hostess to greet customers. Apparently task was left to wait people on a hit and miss basis.Took aprox 15 min to get seated when there were a number of empty table. 2. Table was given a "wipe down" by waitress that left table wet along with the seating. 3.Food was off the mark and on a scale of 1 to 10 would grade a 4. 4. As we left the restaurant a cup of spilled pudding (or something) was just laying in the main walk way to tables.Help was not on the problem.
Very disappointed as we thought we had found a good ny/la style deli at our first visit.

Very good service, the best Pastrami sandwich I have ever eaten! I was having my friend fly me in a Togo's pastrami every other month. The only thing I missed from CA. He is coming to vist and I said no Togo's. Wait until I take you to Schlomo's. I have taken so many people there and going again today! They are the best!

Mr. Moss: Perhaps the $2.00 extra charge for a half tongue sandwich is inappropriate, but the bitch about the tea is stupidity. Next time bring your own tea bag. I wonder if you carry a pouch if instant coffee to your meals... Oh, and while we're on it, it only takes a teaspoon of contents to make a Pepsi, but that just can't be made to just dip in the water. Schmusk!!!

So, Susan, Do you actually expect a couple of Arabs to make chopped liver like Bubbie??? Don't know what menu you were reading or when, but I just saw and ordered lox and bagel--although I doubt it was Nova lox--My Bubbie called complainers like you "Yenta Talabenta"...

I can't speak to lunch, but breakfast was overpriced and mediocre. To compare this to a true New York deli is like comparing the New York New York casino in Vegas to the real city.

This place is terrible! My husband ordered a reuben and a roast beef sandwhich to go. My roast beef sandwhich was the most unflavorful thing I have eaten in a long time! The roast beef was terrible--very dark brown in color and slightly tough. The sandwhich came with thinly-sliced, pale, unripe tomatos--just the one thin slice on one half of the sandwhich! It also had carmalized onions--the chef needs to learn that technique. The onions were more like sugar-soaked! This sandwhich came without a condiment and, boy, did it need one to give it at least some flavor! The pastrami was so fatty, it sort of pulled away like spaghetti noodles when you ate it--heh, that's Italian, right?! This place is perfect for the Foothills out-to-eater who has never actually had a good deli sandwhich and feels special because he's paying 3 times what it costs to have the same blah sandwhich he could get at Subway. And, obviously, the old restaraunt rule of having too many things on the menu and "beware," holds true at this place: How can you have 64 items on a menu (and that doesn't even include dessert) and think you're really going to be serving up anything decent?! Hey Shlomo and Vito, do yourselves a favor: buy yourselves 2 tickets to the City and ask Guido where he buys his meat! Then, hire him to make your sandwhiches! I give this place another 6 months in business--tops. My advice: save your money and hit the deli counter at Safeway next time you want a sandwhich.

We just had a private networking event here and we couldn't be MORE PLEASED! From the manager, Ernesto, to the staff, everyone was very accomodating and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time.
The event was for 60 people on the patio and everything was perfect. There was plenty of food and the desserts were very good.
I would recommend this place when thinking of hosting an event.
