Really?? What if you're driving across the desert, you're nearly out of gas, and the last gas station refuses you service? Drive on into the desert and hope for the best?

What if you were traveling across country, it's getting late, and you can't find a hotel that will allow you and your family to register? Keep driving? No problem??

How about this? You live in a small town with only one grocery store. That store refuses you service. So you have to drive 15 miles to the next town and do your grocery shopping there? Okay?

It's not all about florists and bakeries, you know.

Who said gay people feel uncomfortable around straight people? I know a LOT of gay folks and I don't know a single one that's "uncomfortable around straight people."

<quoted text>Did you ever see "Super Size Me" by Morgan Spurlock? It's available on line to watch. It was sort of unrealistic that he ate every meal there for a month, but he put a package of McDonald's fries under a bell jar and they NEVER changed in 6 months. All the other test foods rotted, but the French fries sat there unchanged.
Yes, I saw that several times. People are so addicted to that "food" that the place is still packed. Few people believe they are going to die. They know it, but they do not believe it. Pretty crazy.

First off, for the most part, it's *not* the couples that have taken action against the bigots that won't serve them. It's the governmental commissions charged with oversight of the laws involved.
Second, it's about equality in public accommodations. We can't start carving out exceptions to the law that allow someone offering their services to the public to discriminate based on their personally chosen beliefs.
Part of the reason those people are successful in whatever business they're pursuing is because of the taxpayer funded infrastructures that allow their business to exist. Roads so that customers can come to them or so that they can go to clients. Police and fire protection to protect them and their establishments. Court systems to equitably enforce their contracts should a dispute arise. All those things are supported by ALL taxpayers, no?
So if businesses are allowed to start discriminating against certain people they decide they don't like, then taxpayers are being forced to pay for services that support businesses that will not serve them. That's not okay.
Lastly, would you be so quick to be critical of people fighting this type of discrimination if the tables were turned?? If it was YOU that was being turned away from a business because the owners chose to not like you, despite them not knowing you, would that be okay with you??
Your socialistic statism is what is not OK. You are opposed to freedom and liberty because your parents sent you to the government indoctrination centers each morning for 12 years where you were told that fairness and equality were better than freedom and liberty. Therefor you now have no problem advocating that the freedom of people you do not approve of be limited and restricted so you can have your sense of equality.

You can only have real equality and fairness when people have freedom and liberty. The government did a number on you and you do not even know it.

That is because that would be the normal thing to do. How did you escape the Governments indoctrination? All our authoritarian gays believe they have a right to force people who don't like them to do things for them. They think that is normal because the government indoctrinated them to believe that way. The government had them for 12 years and taught them what they wanted them to believe and now here they are today, insisting we all worship the government and make it our God because Government can bring us a world of fairness and equality at the expense of freedom and liberty.

I wish they would all go visit Russia where they are asked for their papers every time they cross town so they could see what it is like living with out freedom and liberty in a country where fairness and equality are the rule of the day.

They do not understand and they are intolerant of people who do.

I just ment the ones that fear us breeders.

Everyone should have a place to feel at home. As the young people say...'let it all hang out'

I have no problem with those folks myself. I have a uncle who like to dress up in woman's clothing too!

That is as stupid as what Comrade Sheepie says. What if you fell off a sky scraper but managed to grab hold of the balcony on the 22 second floor and the owner came out and informed you you were trespassing? What then?

What if you were abducted by aliens and they took you to Mars and the martians didn't like gays, what would you do then?

I have been to orgies and all the gay boys are terrified of naked females. Terrified is too mild of a word. There are no words to describe a gay man standing near a naked woman.

Let us talk about reality instead of your imagination.

Again, I have never met a gay people that fears or feels uncomfortable around straight people. How would such a thing even come to be?? Virtually all of us were raised in families primarily populated by straight people. Most of the people we encounter every day are straight. Why would you think that there are gay people that fear straight people?

That's just bizarre.

All I can say is that you must have been running with an exceedingly immature and stupid crowd if you saw those things happening.

It's ridiculous to even imagine such a scene, let alone pretend it actually happened. You're trying to get us to believe that you went to orgies full of gay guys that had naked women there, too?? Really?? What were the naked women doing there??

Let us talk about reality instead of your imagination.
