From the article:
""The impoverished are forced to eat junk if we want to eat," said 32-year-old Tabitha, a mother of a 2- and 7-year-old staying at a Culver City, Calif., shelter, who asked her last name not be used to save embarrassment."
Apparently Tabitha is not too embarrassed to be making babies she can't afford to provide for, no mention of any daddy's paying support or helping to provide for those children, so Tabitha sees fit to place the burden on the taxpayers to provide food and housing for her children and for herself. Not too embarrassed to stick her hand out, but ungrateful enough to gripe that what she is "given" for nothing is not enough to satisfy her to provide the lifestyle she wants the taxpayers to give her, but is obviously unwilling to work for herself.
