This is more of a sign of the problems in the economy than pollution standards.
The pollution here can be fixed easily with a simple machine, a muck spreader. Within a couple of days the 'pollution' will have been turned into valuable fertiliser which can be used in other farms.
Even subsistence farming does this so how is it possible industrial scale farming doesn't?
